Lieke van Hulsbergen (Happyfish Owner)
Lieke is the creative mind behind Happyfish, she always looks into the smallest details and will make sure you have a great time at the retreat. Next to that she is running the retreat together with Sjors, she is also setting up her own swimwear brand “TET swimwear”. All from recycled materials.
Neus started Yoga to connect her mind and body, to be kind and compassionate towards herself and she found peace and joy. She wants to help people to reconnect with themselves and find love and appreciation within. Neus decided to follow her dream and passion for yoga and traveling. She wants to help our guests to find gratitude and love through it.
Sjors van Leeuwen (Happyfish Owner)
Sjors is the reason how the name happyfish was founded, he loves to be in the water so called “fish” by Lieke, he is always positive and helpful. Sjors has a watersport company back in Holland named “PEPSPORTS”. He decided together with Lieke that they wanted to share their own passions with the guests. Yoga, active sports, good food and many moments to relax on a tropical island.

"Great experience at Happyfish!"
The facilities, which are all brand new, clean, airy and modern. The staff were all very friendly and made me feel cared for, comfortable and relaxed. Loved the yoga and activities as well which was my primary reason for going there! Neus was great and wise beyond her years. Her lesson plans were very well thought out and executed and I felt really added to my knowledge of yoga and left me feeling inspired. Definitely gave us a good workout! Also loved opportunity to try surfing, the day trip to Ubud and the massage which was excellent!

"Small nice cozy villa with great staff"
Stayed at HappyFish from March 10-16th.
All the staff there was super nice and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable.
Perfect match with this small villa in quiet neighborhoods where you can forces on your yoga retreat and ease your mind.
I was such a beginner at yoga but the yoga teacher was very flexible and I enjoyed her classes very much.
The chef was awesome too, breakfast and Friday BBQ were included and they were amazing.

"A great stay with great people"
The villa that the retreat was situated in was very homely and all the staff were lovely and polite and helpful. Neus is an awesome yoga instructor and I feel that my yoga improved a lot across the week. All in all I would 100% recommend happy fish to anyone who wants to spend a fun week in Bali while doing some yoga.

"Perfekt Yoga Holiday "
The place was very nice and tidy, the people there were all very friendly and it felt like a big family. Yoga was very good! I have very little experience with yoga and our teacher explained everything very well, the course was very well planned and structured and gave a good insight in the essence of Yoga.
We also had some other courses in between like surfing, Pilates and bootcamp, which was very cool too!
The breakfast was super good, and the BBQ we had all together was soooooo delicious!
All in all it was a perfect week and a good start if you are interested in Yoga and want to get a deep and well explained course to kick-start your Yoga routine. Would recommend it to all my friends.
