    During this yoga teacher training course, you will be staying in bright and clean rooms where you can relax, sleep, and make yourself feel comfortable.

    Clean bed sheets, blankets, and pillows will be provided. You will have your own bathroom with hot water and you can use the Wi-Fi for free. Your classes are located at the same building as your accommodations, so the teachers are easily accessible to you throughout the day.

    Our ashram is located in a natural and peaceful part of Rishikesh. It provides single and shared rooms, a spacious yoga hall with attached bathroom, a roof top hang out space with 360° mountain and river view, a restaurant with benches and tables, lecture hall, elevator, laundry services and movie theater.

    Yoga is not only about the postures. Gyan Yog Breath also offers an optional healing technique, called Emotional Blockage Treatment, so you will get the opportunity to remove accumulated energy blockages, past problems and trauma from your body and mind. It works slightly similar to accupressure or marma therapy. Through the removal of energy blockages, you will feel more light, free and joyful. That is a great foundation to become an inspiring and compassionate yoga instructor and individual.

    During your 200 hour yoga teacher training with Gyan Yog Breath, the focus is on you. They want you to grow and discover yourself. Their aim and mission is to provide you with an excellent course content in a safe and peaceful learning environment. Living in an ashram environment will help you to cultivate health, happiness and freedom from stress and mental fluctuations in your life.

    All classes are interactive and contain diverse practical and theoretical elements, to keep you challenged and motivated. You will learn a minimum of 150 Hatha asanas, 45 ashtanga postures and various pranayamas, shatkarmas, mudras, bandhas and mantras.

    The yoga teacher training also focuses on teaching practice and methodology, yoga anatomy and philosophy. You will be given a free yogi kit containing a new mat, neti pot, manuals, and other yogic necessities.

    To balance this highly intensive yoga teacher training out and get to know Indian culture and landscapes, you are invited to join Sunday excursions to the mountains, waterfalls, caves, local markets and abandoned secret spots around Rishikesh.


    Upon completion, you will have a yoga diploma for the 200 hour yoga teacher training which is internationally recognized by Yoga Alliance USA. After successful completion of the training, you can register with Yoga Alliance. For registration, you need to login to their website, upload your certificate and fill in your details.

    Immersive and holistic

    Hatha is the foundation of all modern yoga. The focus is on this traditional style, helping you learn the correct asanas, teaching the hows and whys of postures and counter-postures, but also showing you how to incorporate Hatha yoga into modern types of trainings.

      Swami Vipin Gyan has been teaching and guiding spiritual seekers and yoga aspirants for the past decade. He is the founder of Gyan Yog Breath Yoga Center in Rishikesh, India and introduces "Emotional Unblocking Treatment" and "Power of Transformation" meditation to his students from all over the world.

    Slum Children Education Project

    A good friend of Gyan Yog Breath runs a creativity school for 400 slum children around. She does amazing work and the children learn so much. They are really good at writing, speaking English, dancing, yoga, science and much more. The students are taken there once a month, so if you are interested you can visit, play and do yoga with the kids.


    A really fun part about Laxman Jhula is having many shops, stalls, and stores. If you have time during your busy training schedule, go wander around for a bit and see what you can find. There are lots of fun clothing to buy like pants, shirts, shawls, and scarves. Some other items that are available in the nearby markets include candles, yoga gear, natural or Ayurvedic beauty and personal care products, religious items, healthy food, snacks, and much more.

    Arrival by airplane:

    Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), from where you can take a domestic flight to Jolly Grant Airport Dheradun (DED). The price of the ticket ranges depending on when you book it, but it’s usually around 70 USD. Upon arrival, you can use a complimentary taxi ride that takes you from Dheradun airport to Gyan Yog Breath's Centre, at Laxman Jhula.

    Arrival by taxi:

    Alternatively, you can also hire a private car to take you from Delhi to Rishikesh (6-7 hour ride). The cost is 40 USD. Gyan Yog Breath will be pleased to organize a safe taxi for you. The taxi driver will hold a sign with your Name up at your arrival Gate in Delhi.

    Arrival by bus

    The Volvo buses from Delhi to Rishikesh stop running around 21:00. If your plane arrives in Delhi in the evening, you will have to get a hotel for the night and then make your way to Delhi ISBT (inter-state bus terminus) in the morning.

    From the airport, you can get a prepaid taxi to take you to Delhi ISBT. The price from the Delhi airport to Delhi ISBT will be 500 INR.

    Once you arrive at Delhi ISBT, navigate your way to the bus station’s ticket stands, on the second level (go up the escalator). Go to the Uttarakhand State booth and ask when the next Volvo bus will be leaving for Rishikesh. The bus ticket approximately costs between 300 to 400 INR.

    Once you arrive at Rishikesh bus station, find an auto rickshaw (tuk tuk) to take you to Laxman Jhula Bridge. From there it is only a two Minute walk to Gyan Yog Breath's Centre.

    • A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
