Gwinganna provides extensive and exceptional facilities. Set on over 200 hectares, on a plateau with scenic ocean and valley views is the main accommodation village including the dining and relaxation areas, swimming pools, seminar room, gymnasium, and spa. Close by, the store has a variety of products, books, clothing and gifts for you to take home. Everything is within easy walking distance.

Orchard suites

Built from beautiful Australian reclaimed timbers,with soaring ceilings, natural stone bathrooms, timber floors and spacious verandahs, the Orchard Suites are nestled into Gwinganna’s orchard. Mountain views provide a restful place to watch the sun set on a perfect day.

Choices include a deluxe studio with ensuite featuring a verandah and sitting area, or a two bedroom suite with ensuites and shared relaxation lounge and verandah. The aptly named Valencia, Mulberry, Olive, Macadamia and Lychee Suites.

Peel house

This fully restored Heritage cottage features two bedrooms, each with queen beds, their own ensuite including a bath, plus a shared lounge area and private laundry. Located next to Villas at Gwinganna, the Peel House has stunning views over the Gold Coast. Also included is the use of a buggy.

Heritage rooms

Whether you choose one of the cosy heritage rooms or the heritage houses for a small group stay, these options have an original Queensland style. All feature ensuite, air conditioning and fans and are close to the central facilities.

Gwinganna is less than 30 minutes drive from Gold Coast airport, around 60 minutes from Brisbane and just 15 minutes from Burleigh Heads beach. Limousine and helicopter transfers also available on request.

Queensland's Gold Coast has a sub-tropical climate with plenty of sunshine year round. Summer temperatures range from 19 to 29 degrees Celsius (66 to 83 degrees Fahrenheit) and Winter temperatures range from an average of 9 to 21 degrees Celsius (48 to 69 degrees Fahrenheit). As Gwinganna is over 1000 feet above sea-level, the temperatures are normally a couple of degrees cooler than the average.
