You will be staying a 2 to 3 minutes walk from the seafront, with many opportunities for different activities like visiting Dubrovnik Old Town, sailing, hiking, kayaking, etc.
The yoga venue is an over 400-year-old stone villa, located in an elevated position in a quiet area of the old Lopud close to the Monastery and the Rector's Palace. It offers panoramic views over the sea and the mountains and is a 2 to 3 minutes walk from the seafront.
There are 7 bedrooms located over 3 floors and one living area / lounge on the first floor with a fully equipped kitchen area. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped summer kitchen with a lounge and dining area. The shaded patio on the top floor and the pool terrace on the ground floor are equipped with sun loungers, a barbecue area, and an outside eating area under a shaded pergola.
At night, the light sensors automatically switch on the subtle outside lights, lighting up the villa, the patio area, and the pool providing a wonderful outside space for you to enjoy.
One of the two sandy beaches is only 3 minutes down from the villa near the harbor and the shops and restaurants. The villa has been recently renovated, it's fully air-conditioned and suited for 12 to 14 people. The light is wonderful and ideal for painting and photography, walking, and trekking. The sea changes color in different lighting from aqua to cobalt blue and the rich greenery and high hills, covered in spring flowers, offer a lovely, scenic backdrop.
The orange blossom flowers fragrant the air offering a lovely ambiance on the terrace in April and May. The walled garden offers a private area for sunbathing, swimming, yoga, painting, cooking, or just simply sitting around chilling and chatting.
The heated pool at the villa can be enjoyed all year round. It has a hydrotherapy massage and spa jets for your spa treatment after a brisk walk or a yoga session. Enjoy a sauna and a power shower afterward and then relax over a fresh drink while watching the sun set over Sipan island opposite.

Whether you're new to yoga or have an established practice, Margot offers variations to support your personal journey.
Their retreats on Lopud Island are intentionally kept intimate with a maximum of 10 participants to ensure personalized attention, maintain a close-knit group dynamic, and create a more meaningful experience for everyone. This small group size allows them to provide individual adjustments during yoga sessions, ensure comfortable dining experiences, and foster genuine connections among participants. It also helps them maintain the peaceful atmosphere of their chosen venue and respect the tranquil nature of Lopud Island.
Solo travelers are more than welcome and make up a significant portion of their retreat participants. Their intimate group setting creates a warm, friendly environment where solo travelers quickly feel at home. The small size of Lopud Island, combined with its safe and peaceful atmosphere, makes it an ideal destination for solo travelers.
Many lasting friendships have formed during their retreats, and they often see solo participants sharing meals, exploring the island together, and supporting each other throughout their yoga journey. You'll never feel alone - you're joining a supportive community of like-minded individuals.
You can easily book additional activities such as massages, kayak rental, bike rental, transfers to other islands (not included).
Two amazing included excursions await you during your stay:
Step back in time as you wander through the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage site of Dubrovnik's Old Town, where ancient limestone streets, medieval fortifications, and baroque churches tell tales of centuries past.
Embrace the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic on a magical day at sea, where their private boat will whisk you through the stunning Elaphiti archipelago. Dive into secluded coves, snorkel in the mesmerizing Blue Cave of Koločep Island where sunlight dances on azure waters, and swim in hidden bays accessible only by boat.
Margot has been practicing yoga for 14 years following a beautiful discovery of outdoor classes in Jamaica's Blue Mountains. Following her path through the islands, she practiced with talented teachers in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, and St. Martin, often near the sea or under the full moon. Classes with Margot aim to make you travel, surpass yourself, better know your body and listen to it, and work on your relationship with breath and mind, with kindness, empathy, joy, and community spirit.
The retreat will take place on Lopud Island, Croatia. Lopud Island is the smallest of all Elaphiti Islands with a rich history and outstanding natural beauty. It is easily accessible by boat (a 1-hour ferry ride from Dubrovnik port).
The main attraction of Lopud is that no cars are allowed so there is no traffic and pollution. The water is crystal clear and very safe with no waves or currents, especially at Sunj beach where it is shallow for several meters. There are many well-maintained cycling, walking, and trekking paths on the island offering guests an ideal location for an active vacation.
On Lopud Island, life moves at nature's pace. The day starts slowly, with sun rays painting the horizon and seagulls inviting you to gently wake up. First, just a few early risers welcome the boats bringing fresh provisions to the island. Soon, everyone gathers for coffee along the main promenade, easing into their day. Those who are lucky, as you are, with a schedule that's all about wellness, can receive everything that Lopud and its surroundings have to offer.
A private chef will be preparing meals for you at the villa and serving healthy delicious vegetarian food from local ingredients. Their private chef crafts an exquisite culinary journey celebrating local Croatian flavors through thoughtfully prepared plant-based dishes. Each meal celebrates Mediterranean traditions, using the finest seasonal ingredients.
Mornings are marked by freshly baked bread aromas wafting through the villa. You start with coffee, tea, fresh juices, fruits and nuts before your yoga practice, followed by a nourishing brunch. Energized and well-fed, you're ready for daily adventures.
As the day winds down, you come together around the terrace table, sharing stories of the day's adventures over starlit dinners that nourish both body and soul.
The package includes large healthy plant-based brunch and dinner daily, except one evening when you'll have a BBQ.
The remaining days are yours to shape as you please - with plenty of space to rest and explore at your own rhythm or book optional excursions. Minutes from the villa, you can swim at sandy Šunj beach or hidden rocky coves, lounge by the pool with fresh juice in hand, hike the island's scenic trails, or watch the sunset from the ancient fort. For those seeking more active pursuits, kayak and snorkel along pristine shores or explore nearby Koločep and Šipan islands on foot or by bike.
Below are examples of optional day trips you will be able to experience (at an additional cost):
Relax on a catamaran as you sail the Adriatic while gentle winds take you among the wonderful Croatian islands, their peaceful and romantic beaches, caves, cliffs, and blue sea.
You will sail around two of the most beautiful islands of the Elaphiti Archipelago, well known for their natural beauty: Kolocep and Lopud. These are some of Croatia’s most beautiful green islands – free of traffic, covered by forests, and with lots of sunshine and sandy beaches.
This one-day sailing trip can be as active or as relaxing as you wish. Your skipper will show you beautiful turquoise hidden spots perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and jumping off rocks. You can go kayaking or paddleboarding, go for a hike to the fortress on Lopud island or just relax on deck. No previous sailing experience is necessary, and kayaks, SUPs, and snorkeling gear are available on request at no extra charge.
Sipan is the largest of the Elaphiti Islands next to Lopud, characterized by a picturesque landscape, castles, churches, chapels, and monasteries. A road with very little traffic connects two villages. Luka Sipanska at the far end of the island is a charming and romantic fishing village in a bay surrounded by palm trees which you will definitely visit and maybe even take a swim on the beach if you feel like it.
Depending on the group preference, you will choose to explore the island on foot, by bike, or by kayak (or combine several activities). You will also be able to visit the local hilltop farm with wonderful olive groves and the most beautiful view of the island!
Of the 3 main Elaphiti islands (along with Lopud and Sipan), Kolocep is the closest to Dubrovnik and to the mainland. The two main villages on the island are Gornje (upper) Celo and Donje (lower) Celo.
Car-free, it’s a great place for relaxation and taking leisurely walks on the paths that crisscross through the island and its pine forests, before retiring for a few hours on one of the island’s sandy beaches.
Keen swimmers will delight in the island’s crystal clear waters, exploring the coves and sandy bays that have arisen due to the indented nature of the island. The highlight of the island that shouldn't be missed is the Blue Cave which can be explored by swimming toward it and in it.
