The newly open Green Yoga Retreat Center is a traditional finca hotel situated in the Eastern side of Mallorca island. The world-class international Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy and Museum are just 5 minutes away from the yoga retreat. Some of the most beautiful beaches (Cala Varques, Cala Romantica, Cala Mandia) are just 10 minutes by car. In 10 minutes, you can also visit the picturesque village of Porto Cristo and the famous Coves del Drag.

You can enjoy a stunning view of sunrise and sunset from the swimming pool area and some of the balconies. The entire retreat is equipped with stone buildings, enough place to chill out, to meditate, or to be on your own when required.

The new Green Yoga Retreat Center is spread over 80.000 square meters of land with a beautiful landscape surrounded by almond, carob, and many other trees that nestles various colorful birds. The retreat also hosts several other animals who naturally graze around attracted by the lush green vegetation.

The Yoga Retreat is a safe, clean and comfortable place to sit back and relax, to study, and also a place to find peace and tranquility in the lap of mother nature. Keeping in mind the best quality of teaching and service, we have a capacity for 25-30 students to accommodate in our retreat in 2 different options: twin and triple rooms.

The hotel has a total of 11 rooms with a washroom, kitchen, living room, and some of them with balconies overlooking the ocean. Every room is furnished with modern furniture, comfortable beds, and linen. The kitchens are equipped with a fridge and basic utensils for cooking. In all the washrooms you can find a modern shower and hairdryer.

In this 50-hour Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra Teacher Training, we embark on a journey to discover and work with the deepest layers of our being. Both practices aim at healing and empowering on a physical, emotional, and mental level while giving space to the potentiality within. In this teacher training, you will learn a variety of tools to guide experiences into stillness and awareness in order to provide overall wellbeing.

We will examine Yin Yoga from a traditional Indian perspective, including teaching methods of Pranayama and meditation and from a Daoist view including the most important aspects of Daoist philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Graduates of this course will feel competent designing, theming, sequencing and instructing meaningful Yin Yoga classes.

Furthermore, we will study the science and methodology of Yoga Nidra equipping you with the knowledge necessary to design and guide valuable and healing Yoga Nidra sessions.

Yin Yoga is soft, still and nourishing, cultivating receptiveness and inward awareness. While holding poses for a longer period of time, this practice provides the opportunity for connecting with the innermost self and for releasing physical, emotional and mental tension. Yin Yoga as a distinct style has been coined in recent decades by Paul Grilley but its underlying concepts are rooted in the ancient philosophies of India and China evolving around the aspects of health and energy.

Yoga Nidra is the practice of yogic sleep, an ancient technique rooted in the Indian yogic philosophy and brought to light by yogic master Swami Satyananda Saraswati. Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation, in which the practitioner is lead to enter a state of deep physical relaxation while remaining in an awakened state of mind. In a different manner but yet with a similar aim as Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra aids to release tensions on a physical, emotional and mental level.

Yet Yoga Nidra goes further and as release and relaxation are induced, it acts as a tool to restructure and reform our whole personality from within. Yoga Nidra is a scientific method that allows deep healing and the awakening of our creative genius. Therefore, it makes a highly valuable addition to the teaching of Yin yoga.

The course is open to new and experienced teachers, as well as dedicated yoga students who desire to deepen their Yin Yoga practice and learn about Yoga Nidra.
