Discover yourself in the miraculous south of Sri Lanka. This Island is a magic place with beautiful green nature to find inner peace, to strengthen your body with yoga, and to clear your mind and body with Breathwork. Sri Lanka is the home of Ayurveda one of the oldest healing systems, which believes wellness depends on a balance between mind, body, and spirit. This balance will build up during the week and give you space which you need to. You will nourish you with healthy vegan plant-based food, all grown locally and if you like get ayurvedic treatments.
Breathwork can be described as a portal and door to our internal and external worlds. In only one session you can give space, expansion, and opportunity for shifts, movement, insights, change, and the chance to come back to your bodies that hold you so dearly and work non-stop so that you may exist here and now.
During the afternoon, you will get Ayurvedic massages or treatments, have guided group talks, can relax on the beach or take a surf class, discover the south of Sri Lanka or just relax and read a book.
To share, support and giving is Martina’s purpose in life. Her intention is to empower people through breathwork and yoga so they can rise up and see their own purpose and truth. She is a 400hr Hatha-Yogateacher, 100hr Yin-Yoga-Teacher and a Breathwork Teacher. When she is teaching she creats a save and secret space, that her students can find stillness into thematic yoga sequences to reconnect with their body, mind and soul and feel the balance between strenthening & relaxation with breathing awarness.
Alex has been practicing Vipassana meditation for 10 years and has been practicing yoga for more than six years and has finished a 400h hatha yoga teacher training in Germany. He finished an additional breathwork teacher training with Anthony from Alchemy of Breath, to deepen his knowledge working with the breath and the body. His yoga classes have a strong focus on the breathing and body sensations. These classes are perfect to reconnect with our self, to help to stay present during the practice and in your life and to feel alive. He worked as well many years in hospitality and as a chef.
Katie is a 500+ hour certified Yoga Instructor trained in Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Yin and Aerial. Her teaching journey started in 2015: completing her 200 hour course in New York, USA; 300 hour course in Rishiskesh, India; and 250 hour course in Weligama, Sri Lanka. She also has participated in over 300 hours of Vipassana Meditation training as well. She is currently based in Sri Lanka where she teaches for yoga retreats and records yoga videos. She teaches daily Vinyasa classes to enable participants to work up a sweat while continuously grounding the class with breath work and meditatio
