Prasad is a very attentive and careful 20 years yoga instructor from Kerala (India). His trainings includes Indian traditional yoga, warrior yoga, yoga for beginners and guided meditation. In addition of providing a complete physical, emotional and mental training, his aim is to teach you how to focus on the present moment and how to look for happiness inside you, to awake your conscious mind, which will help you to live your life more consciously.

"Excellent small retreat"
A wonderfully run, non-profit retreat center just outside the center of Siem Reap. The hotel and yoga center are next door to each other and run together very smoothly. All the staff are great and it is a very progressive concept to run as a non-profit helping the local communities. Bonuses, mostly vegan menu, many choices to select, interesting guests to meet, very comfortable rooms, tiny pool to cool off in between events and a daily massage!
Definitely schedule at least 1 extra day to spend exploring the UNESCO Heritage sites of the temples.

"Wonderful oasis, friendly staff, and I love their mission! "
I am soooo pleased that I booked this retreat! I felt like they spoiled me beyond belief. I had a massage everyday - yes, every single day, and 3 meals and daily juice or smoothie was provided. The yoga and martial arts classes were great and I liked that everything was optional. If I wanted to sleep in and miss out on the 6am yoga class, it was no biggie. The staff, especially Mr. Lin was gracious and made sure that I was comfortable. A lot of the meals were customized to my liking. The vegetarian and meat dishes were delicious. Mr. Lin granted me a late check out. The staff are friendly and I enjoyed my painting class! This was way more than just your average yoga retreat, where you only eat and do yoga all day. The highlight of my retreat was when we went to see how they, the non-profit, provides clean drinking water for families in need! We rode a Jeepnee outside of downtown Siem Reap to dig a well for the families in the village. I felt like a responsible tourist, that my money was going to improve the lives of the community, that I was making a difference with my money. I thought that I got a great value out of what I paid for. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and I highly recommend that you stay here and I would come back again.

I have mobility issues, EVERYONE, without exception, went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and that I could participate as fully as possible in the activities and the hotel was lovely. There is a great balance between free time and the great range of activities. I loved being here!

"Wonderful blend of yoga retreat and cultural experience"
This is a great retreat if you're looking for combining some yoga and cultural activities.
Great yoga classes (classic Hatha) with Prasad. He's a special teacher and we were lucky to learn from him everyday. In the evenings, we had a gentle yoga class with Tammy, who is patient and attentive. She let us choose what areas of practice we wanted to focus on and I always felt relaxed & calm afterward. In general, the yoga classes are more for beginner & intermediate levels. If you regularly practice vinyasa, power yoga, or strong yoga classes, as I do, it's nice to kinda slow down your practice like this.
The Nia dance and Wine and painting were great too! All taught by professional and kind teachers. The cooking class is also nice. I felt spoiled by having massage EVERYDAY (not that I complain though). The food and detox juices, the local coffee & tea are yummy!
Special thanks to Mr. Lin, the hotel staff and SB (tuk-tuk driver) who made my stay pleasant and smooth. The hotel is small but it's like entering an oasis and I couldn't help but feeling lucky to be there especially seeing how the locals live. It's located in a village with a dirt road, but it's only 10-minute walk to the center of attractions in SR. The room is clean and everything is provided. The hotel helped me to arrange all my additional tours for the same price as booking directly.

I had a wonderful time thanks to staffs at Tavoos garden and Green Leaf Boutique Hotel. The instructors are execelent. Amanda, Yoga instructor helped me a lot. Her gentle voice guided me how to move, breath and contact with my mind. Grand master San Kim Sean of Bokator, helped me how to feel the confidence in myself. Debbie-Lee, Nia instructor helped me to set me free. I met wonderful people there who inspired me a lot. The sun shine smiles of people there make me so happy.

"Amazing value for a really amazing experience. "
The accommodations were beautiful and kept very clean. I think the best part was the attention to detail and care the entire staff took with us, especially Mr. Lin who is the head of the team. The food was amazing, every meal was delicious and healthy. The yoga in the morning was very challenging and at night the yoga was more relaxing and meditative. It is a beginners level but can be increased in difficulty for more of a challenge. I think the biggest surprise was the Nia dance class. I had never heard of Nia dance prior to going to Green Leaf, but it was a hard workout and so much fun. I very highly recommend this retreat. Go with an open mind and heart and you will leave refreshed and renewed.

"Fantastically organised and intimate retreat "
I was the only attendee of this retreat and had a wonderful one-on-one experience. The organisers went out of their way to make my experience as good a possible. I actually really enjoyed the yoga lessons on my own, and i always had good company for dinner which was nice. The hotel is a 10min walk to the hub of town and Pub street which was great, at other times there was the option to the hotel tuk tuk. The food was wholesome and freshly cooked, the detox juices were fantastic. The hotel and pool were clean and tidy, with lots of great outside seating options for reading and lounging. The yoga and exercise studio is in the nicest garden, a real zen space, great for enjoying the sun.

All the organizers, staff and instructors were friendly and knowledgable. The food was great, as was the view. Lots of good ambiance. By the end of the week both Selma and Ils helped me be able to do things with my body that last week I would have laughed if you told me I would.
I think the painting class/evening and the qigong were top of my list. I also appreciated being able to see some of the other things you are doing in and for the community as a nonprofit.
