I first met this amazing and inspirational yoga therapist in 2012. Lisa was recommended to me by another yoga teacher. I was going through a period of clinical depression and desperately needed help and support. Lisa spent time with me on a one-on-one, detailing all aspects of my well-being. I committed to her yoga therapy classes, her workshops (goddess, new moon yoga, restorative, summer solstice, and many more). I also attended her weekend retreats. Lisa is always learning, gaining a deeper understanding of her practice, which she then lovingly shares with her students. Lisa recently trained as a gong mistress, her gong baths are amazing. I witnessed my own healing in so many ways (I was waiting for carpel tunnel surgery, which I canceled as a result of healing through the sound waves of the gong). Lisa is a very professional yoga therapist, she has taught me so much through sharing of her own practice and role modeling, what it is to be a healthy loving woman. Lisa showed a love to me when I could not love myself. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to have her as my teacher and mentor.

I first met Lisa during her pregnancy yoga classes when I was 16-week pregnant. The yoga classes proved an invaluable support to me, both emotionally and physically, during such a vulnerable time of my life. Lisa helped me to feel empowered and provided a wonderful space for me to bond with my unborn child. I didn’t hesitate to return to post-natal yoga sessions with Lisa, during those early sleepless nights, as it enabled me to carve out some sacred time for me to look after myself, guided by Lisa’s expertise and compassion. I find Lisa’s yoga classes a very peaceful place to explore my thoughts, feelings and bodily signals, in order to help maintain positive physical health and mental well-being.

Lisa brings a wealth of experience in holding space with warmth and compassion to support other women in bringing balance into their busy lives. Not one to sit on the fence, she walks her talk and having recently taken ‘time out’ to nurture herself and her own dreams, this has deepened her own practice and the support that she can offer to others. She is a true goddess and her passion for this work is infectious and inspiring. Her work is invaluable in supporting women to trust their innate power and wisdom, contributing to the empowerment of the ‘divine feminine’ and the return of a growing ‘sisterhood’ which is so important in these awakening times. I look forward to attending one of her women’s retreats in the not too distant future which I am sure will be a transformational experience.

My friend Kerry and I booked Lisa’s Suffolk retreat last year, not quite knowing what to expect as we’d never done a full on yoga retreat before. Lisa had booked the most beautiful venue, a stylish, cozy barn conversion in a pretty part of Suffolk. There were several ladies there who had known Lisa and Bob for a while and had been doing yoga with them for some time. They all made us very welcome and by the end of the weekend we felt very relaxed and left to go home feeling rested and happy. Lisa’s yoga was very communal, and not competitive. Bob’s Gong baths were truly amazing, like an outer body experience! I would love to go again, but sadly now have too many commitments at home.
