The accommodation provided is based on single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy at Yemaya Island Hideaway and Spa. Each of the suites is ocean-front, nestled among soaring coco-palms perched above two stunning white sand beaches. You can measure the distance in steps from the sea. The colors of the clear Caribbean waters as they stretch to the horizon across the inner and outer reefs are breathtaking.

The generously sized rooms come with a king sized bed, plus two single pullouts, luxurious bedding and handcrafted furnishings made from Nicaraguan hardwood. The breathtaking sunrises and stretch of horizon across the inner and outer reefs leave guests questioning if they should ever leave their own private terrace.

Each room has its own full length mirror, in-room safe, mini refrigerator, mood lighting, hot water, large bathroom with indoor garden, home made organic shampoo and body wash, and rainfall showerhead.

Thursday, May 4

  • Upon arrival, you will all be meeting at an executive hotel for a welcome dinner.

Friday, May 5

  • 06:00 Depart from the hotel to a beautiful tropical location on Big Corn Island. From there, you will travel to Little Corn Island via a short private plane ride and a 30-minute private panga boat ride.

Friday to Wednesday, May 5 to May 10

  • Every morning, yoga classes be held on the tranquil jungle platform with fully equipped yoga mats, blocks, and bolsters that holds 45 people. The yoga classes are designed to release stress and invigorate the body and calm the mind through movement, breathing exercises, and through learning to embrace stillness.
  • The sunset meditations will be done to the sound of the ocean waves and swaying coconut trees on the ocean platform.
  • Everyday you will be enjoying organic, clean, and fresh meals which are grown from the local onsite garden and greenhouse, that will facilitate your body’s natural cleansing and recalibrating process. The specially designed plant powered menu will include fresh juices, green juices, plant-based smoothies, plant proteins, medicinal mushrooms, adaptogenic herbs, organic fresh vegetables and fruits, and creative raw food dishes to infuse your body with life. Not only will you feel amazing after a retreat like this but you will have so many new ideas for eating strategies and recipes when you go home.
  • Relaxation times include hanging by the beach, lying in hammocks, spa treatments, kayaking, paddle boarding, amazing snorkelling, and a group sailboat trip.

Thursday, May 11

  • On your last day, it is recommended to depart from Yemaya anytime after 09:30 to give yourself enough time to check-in and for the customs. You can also opt to stay longer at Yemaya or travel around in Nicaragua.

    Grace Van Berkum is a registered holistic nutritionist, Sivananda yoga teacher, certified personal trainer, wellness couch, and founder of Gracious Living Retreats. She brings her passion for plant-based whole foods that have healed her own health problems and healed her dad's cancer into everything she does. She believes that being truly spiritual begins with connecting to food from the earth to increase prana and elevate consciousness.

  • Rebecca Gonzales

    Rebecca is a holistic yoga instructor at Yemaya Island Hideaway and Spa in the middle of the Caribbean. Her mission is to have a happier and healthier humans thriving together.

The retreat will take place at Yemaya Island Hideaway and Spa in Little Corn Island, Nicaragua. Little Corn Island is one of the last undeveloped island paradises in the Caribbean. The hotel’s lush jungle gardens, white sand beaches, turquoise seas, clean air and colorful reefs teeming with life are all waiting for you to explore.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Augusto C. Sandino International Airport (MGA). Transfer from and to the airport is included. The organizer will pick you up from the airport.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 24% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
