Experience the sacred valley of Peru from the mountainous prana-filled food to the sacred ancient sites. Throughout the week, you will explore healing and harmony through shamanic magic, the natural wonders of Peru, and fresh, local, nutrient-dense foods optimal for anti-inflammatory cell health.
The accommodation provided is based on shared room occupancy. Single rooms are available for an additional rate, but with limited capacity. In the main lodge, the twelve primary guest rooms are split between two floors, with each level boasting a huge shared bathroom containing rich tile flooring, multiple glass shower stalls and on-demand hot water. Guest rooms are beautifully appointed with two roomy dressers and two exceptionally comfy single beds dressed with two pillows, high-thread count linens, thick duvet and alpaca wool blankets. Though the Source is located in a beautiful, secluded spot in the Sacred Valley, laundry service and 24-hour Wi-Fi are available.
Upon arrival, a shuttle will be waiting for you at the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ) to bring you to the Source. The 1-hour and 15-minute trip will take you briefly through the city then into the gorgeous sacred valley. At the center, you will be met by the Source staff, Grace, and Julian to welcome you. There will be a welcome dinner with an opening circle and introductions. Celestial sleep under the milky way.
The retreat will take place at the Source in Cusco, Peru. The Source is nestled between a breathtaking 100-foot waterfall, a river canyon, and two spectacular mountains. The Source is just below the clouds at 10,000 feet in the heart of the Sacred Valley. The property is beautifully landscaped and surrounded by fragrant eucalyptus groves with an abundance of fruit trees and water features on the grounds. Cusco is the largest tourist destination in the country due to the breathtaking views, ancient ruins, unique heritage, and Machu Picchu. Cusco was the site of the historic capital of the Inca Empire and was declared a World Heritage Site, along with Machu Picchu, in 1983 by UNESCO.
