Happiness is a choice one makes every day, not something to aspire to. Returning back to your roots is a type of yoga that grounds you in your true nature, where all your chakras become aligned. This leads to holistic health which is the foundation of all living beings. Everything in this universe is in perfect balance.
The only exception is humankind and its pursuit of desires outside of the body and soul creates a disbalance with the universe around. Morning yoga by the sea while listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore and enjoying the scent of the pine forest will allow you to tune in to your microcosm and align with the macrocosm.
Being in nature, walking barefoot, meditating on each step you take in the labyrinth of the pine forest, practicing yoga on the water, balancing on a board while you feel the water beneath you rocking yourself gently, the sunshine warming your skin, the cool breeze gently giving you back a breath of fresh air. All these beautiful elements remind you of the joy of living and awaken in you the knowledge that happiness is truly within, and the choice you consciously make every day.
The alignment you generate with nature creates peace of mind which lasts for a while after you leave it, reminding you of the simplicity and beauty of life throughout the whole year.
The schedule is flexible and participation is not mandatory. Please keep in mind that the schedule may vary due to weather conditions.
Goran began his yoga path in Croatia and is a long-time kickboxing and Ashtanga yoga practitioner. He has dedicated 20 years of his life to competition, practicing, and teaching, constantly in the search for something that will challenge him both physically and mentally. The moment he encountered the Ashtanga method, he knew it was the end of his search. This practice was completely dynamic but calming for the mind, exactly what he was looking for. He surrenders himself into daily yoga asana practice, meditation, pranayama, and other techniques that showed him the road to a lifetime balance.
Premantura is a small place located on the south of the Istrian peninsula, near the tourist center Pula. Point Kamenjak is located to the south and Medulin Bay to the east. The sea color is a rare blue-green, the clearest in the entire Adriatic. Some of the most beautiful pebble and rocky beaches are located here, some of which are Point Kamenjak, Sandy cove beach, Stupce beach (pebble beach), Munte (a combination of a beautiful pebble beach and a paved sun-bathing spot).
This is one of the rare destinations which offer a beach that is adapted to the blind. Premantura has a lot of historical sites; visit the church of St. Lovre (located on the central square and built in the 17th century; special festivity takes place on August 10 when the patron saint of Premantura is celebrated – St. Lovre) and the tower (a coordinator for many seamen who could travel along the shore).
While in Premantura, be sure to visit numerous small islands in the surroundings, the most interesting of which is Porer, which contains a high stone building and a lighthouse, possible to rent. The Brijuni national park is located nearby, as well as a group of 8 islands preserved and which fall under the category of the protection area with many natural and historical sites.
Sports and active vacation enthusiasts can enjoy diving, cycling, surfing, sailing, water skiing, football, beach volleyball, basketball, and numerous other activities. If you would like to savor the gastronomical offer of this region, as well as the Istrian cuisine, visit the restaurant 'Frai Kat', as well as the taverns 'Finera' and 'Stare Uzance'.
