Practicing yoga in a class environment has great advantages, but having your own yoga practice which you can do wherever and wherever you want, and based on which you can build your strength and flexibility has even more advantages. Join this retreat if you want to know more about yoga, alignment of postures, and sequencing, and if you want to go back home being able to practice as often as you want and to build your practice of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga at your own pace.
During the retreat, you will be staying at one of Umasari‘s villas and suites. At Umasari Rice Terrace Villa, you will find a garden and a terrace, and you can enjoy a garden view from all the rooms. Featuring a shower, private bathrooms also come with free toiletries. All rooms are air-conditioned and feature a bathroom, mosquito net, fridge, kettle, tea or coffee, and free toiletries.
Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas of the property, while other facilities offered include an ironing and a laundry service. The property offers free parking. Extras include a desk and a fan. Daily breakfast is served at the guest house.
During the retreat, except for the morning and afternoon yoga class, you will have three workshops, two hours each, during which the teacher will explain you the structure of the sequence, give you options according to your advancement in yoga, and answer any of your questions.

Ary was born into a Balinese healers family and practiced yoga from a young age with his yogi sister, Pradnya, and father. He graduated from the 200-hour TTC at the School of Sacred Arts in Ubud in 2012. Since then, he's been teaching every day. Since 2013, Ary has been studying yoga with Jani Jaatinen (Mahayogi Gokulacandra Das). Ary teaches Gokul Hatha (asana, pranayama, meditation) and Gokul Vinyasa yoga. His traditional approach to yoga helps people understand its roots and value. He encourages people to establish their own practice by giving them appropriate tools, wisdom, and skills.
This retreat will take place in Bali, at Umasari Rice Terrace Villa. The place is located in the very peaceful, rural surroundings of Peken Village, 25 minutes' drive from Ubud and 35 minutes' drive form the beach. Surrounding ricefields and the swimming pool make for a refreshing atmosphere.
You will enjoy three daily vegetarian or vegan freshly prepared, sattvic meals and afternoon tea. Unlimited herbal water is available.
During your visit, you can experience traditional Balinese activities, such as ritual offering making, and traditional cooking, gambelan, and dancing classes. Umasari Rice Terrace Villa is strategically close to many authentic Balinese venues such as Mengwi Royal Temple, Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest, as well as beautiful terraced rice fields and sacred temples.
You can explore by trekking, cycling, or by local shuttle. There are plenty of nature walking opportunities just outside Umasari, through the quaint village and beautiful rice paddies.
