Acquainting Yoga Teacher Training Bali

You will be staying in a private single room, shared double room, or private double room at Umasari Rice Terrace Villa.


Modules of the level 1 training include Gokul Hatha yoga, meditation and pranayama, therapeutic yoga or for common ailments inclusive of case studies, yoga philosophy, puja, chanting, or mantra, the art of touch (assisting and adjusting skills), practical teaching skills or one-on-one teaching or practicum, and practical yoga anatomy.


Hatha yoga teacher training is commonly affiliated with Yoga Alliance. Thus, participants of training are required to pass 200-hour and 500-hour yoga teacher training. There are many popular destinations you can choose from as well. One of the most popular ones is Hatha yoga teacher training in India.

Masley Yahya will teach in December and in April from the 9th to the 15th. Then, you will receive the teachings of Mahayogi Gokulacandra Das from the 16th to the 23rd of April.


Jani Jaatinen aka Mahayogi Gokulacandra Das
Jani started his yoga journey in 2000 with Janne Kontala, a legendary teacher and Jani’s good friend. Since then, he has been practicing Hatha and Ashtanga, as well as integrating yogic spiritual practices. He also teaches internationally, regularly visiting Gokul Yoga Bali for retreats and teacher training workshops. Mahayogi’s dedication and devotion to yoga are an inspiration for everyone who has had the chance to study yoga with him.

Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 (Yoga)
Masley is a trained and dedicated yoga instructor. Her practice is influenced by classical yoga covering Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga currently taught by Mahayogi Jani Jaatinen of Gokul Yoga. She teaches Hatha and Vinyasa yoga which are alignment-based so no matter the pace of the practice is, the mind finds quiet strength in becoming aware of the rhythm of the body. She is a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and has a background in community and clinical psychology. She hopes to share her knowledge in using yoga as a complementary toolkit in managing stress, anxiety, and depression.

This yoga teacher training will be held at Umasari Rice Terrace Villa, Dusun Umabian, Desa Peken, Kecamatan Marga, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali.

Meals at Umasari are always freshly prepared before serving in buffet style. All meals are vegetarian or vegan and sattvic (don't contain onion, garlic, eggs). The breakfast menu is a selection of bread, jam, butter, fruit salad, oats, Balinese porridge, and Balinese cakes. The lunch and dinner menu is a selection of Balinese, Indonesian and Western Cuisine.

Your package includes as well daily one fresh coconut water, and to each meal you can order tea / coffee or Balinese jamu (ginger / tumeric healthy drink). Outside of the above-mentioned meals, kitchen staff will be happy to prepare other meals and drinks / juices for you according to menu price table.
