Let Goddess Retreats transport you with Ayurveda, an ancient holistic healing art that originated in India. According to Ayurvedic teachings, there are three subtle energies, called doshas, in each of you that are related to the five elements (air, space, water, fire, and earth). Your doshas fluctuate from time to time and can become unbalanced. Ayurvedic treatments restore that balance, rejuvenating your mind and body through massage and nourishing your skin with fine oils, herbal powders, and aromatherapy blends.

This massage uses the traditional Balinese techniques of firm finger and palm pressure together with long stimulating strokes. Performed with your choice of essential oil blend, this local therapy eases body tension and invigorates the senses.
Abhyangam is a full body massage with medicated oil; the principal healing tool and the mother of all massages in Ayurveda. It is known to have healing benefits by naturally harmonizing body, mind, and spirit.
Udwartana means to energize and elevate the whole body. A specially blended medicated powder is deeply massaged into your body using specific palm and finger movements. This treatment is performed to complement a weight loss regime as it tones muscles, stimulates blood circulation, and reduces cellulite. By revitalizing the skin and sense of touch, it enhances youthfulness.
In order for you to be balanced, Goddess Retreats needs to make sure that your chakras (energy centers) are open. This unique massage combines an Ayurveda practice with medicated oils and special pressure techniques to detoxify and release blockages. The treatment goes deeper beyond the physical level, by touching your soul and healing unsolved issues. An emotional reaction after the massage may occur as this is all part of the cleansing process. This traditional Balinese herbal scrub and massage treatment uses an age-old recipe to prevent colds during the rainy season. It involves a paste made from fresh herbs and spices, which is applied to the body to increase blood circulation and ease muscle pain. A DaLa foot ritual begins this indulgence and continues with a tension-relieving Balinese massage. The highlight is the boreh paste created from natural ingredients such as turmeric, ginger, clove, cinnamon, coriander, pepper, and nutmeg. A soothing head, face, and neck massage of the head, neck, and shoulders is performed with warm herbal oils. An Ayurvedic medicated oil Treatment for back pain: The waist area of the body is called kati. A rectangular, leak-proof reservoir made of black gram dough is built up on your lower back, around the lumbo-sacral area. Lukewarm medicated oil is then gently poured in. The oil and the receptacle are kept in place for about 30 minutes and after removal, the affected area is gently massaged. It is beneficial for all spinal ailments, back pain, and muscular discomfort.
Dhara means flow and this treatment involves a continuous stream of warm herbal oil poured from an earthen vessel onto your forehead. The oil can also be replaced with medicated butter milk or herbal infused milk. As one of the most popular Ayurveda practices, this treatment profoundly relaxes the nervous system and relieves stress. It also improves memory, enhances deep sleep, and helps with migraines plus ear, nose, and throat disorders
During this treatment, the Indian-style Thai massage is performed by two therapists using the soles of their feet as they carefully balance holding ropes that are suspended from the ceiling. This luxurious royal facial uses fresh and natural ingredients that are perfect for all skin types. The complimentary airport transfers to the retreat are between the hours of 12 p.m to 8 p.m. on the first day of the retreat and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the final day of the retreat.
If you are arriving from or departing to other accommodation in Bali, Goddess Retreats can provide complimentary transfers in the local Ubud area only.
If you are planning on coming from other areas in southern Bali, Goddess Retreats can help you to coordinate to meet the drivers at the airport arrival lobby and join the transport from that location.
For guest who want to make their own way to the retreat or need transport outside of the arrival and departure times and range, it will be necessary to organize your individual transport to or from the retreat at your own expense, which can range from 10 to 50 USD approximately.
