Goddess Acumen empowers women to feel like the goddesses they are. Working with techniques such as meditation, EFT (“tapping”) and NLP, this powerful healing and transformational work focuses on Greek Goddesses as metaphors for the different aspects of the feminine energy, from exploring career driven Athena to nurturing, earth mother Demeter.
The techniques help to release negative thoughts, feelings, and beliefs; and let in all the good stuff that it is strived for.
Each day will focus on a different goddess. This goddess energy will be unleashed through daily workshops, activities, and yoga classes (not to mention a day off half way through to allow you to relax and explore at your leisure!) From surfing to cooking up a storm Caribbean style, to having a relaxing massage and pampering session, you will be exploring Barbados in a way that you never imagined.
The impact of this retreat does not end when you leave the island. You will be supported to bring your revived self and new strength, perspective, and tools into your daily life, and maintain a lasting sense of well being.
After the retreat, six months follow-on support (one hour phone/skype session followed by monthly emails)

Nestled at scenic Mullins Bay, St. Peter, a few short hundred feet away from Barbados' most beguiling shoreline, lies the Barbados yoga retreat location, a small, quaint property of nine apartments, bent towards making its guests experience real Bajan living. It is a ‘no-fuss’ property offering personalized service, where guests quickly become friends who keep coming back to visit.
Mullins is a great spot for water activities including jet skiing, water skiing, banana boat rides, tube rides, speedboat tours, and catamaran excursions. Mullins is also a great place for snorkeling and scuba diving, windsurfing and parasailing, or join in a friendly game of beach cricket or volleyball.
Just around the corner, south of Mullins is an idyllic spot for picnics, and a short walk to Gibbs Bay, a secluded West Coast cove, where you can enjoy a long stroll along the beach, collect shells, or simply lay back and gaze at a breathtaking sunset.
The retreat location is within walking distance of banks, restaurants, and supermarkets. A 24-hour convenience store is at a 300-meter walk away. Stock up on odds and ends there, including Barbados’ world renowned Banks Beer. Also a walk away is a selection of dining spots including a delectable Chinese restaurant, and a variety of local home-style cooking venues, serving finger-licking chicken, fish, ribs, and seafood.
Speightstown is a 15 minute walk to the north and Holetown is a 10 minute drive to the south. These are two major shopping areas in either direction, strewn with supermarkets, restaurants, banks, duty-free, and local shopping.
