Program

Embark on a refreshing and rejuvenating retreat held by Global Flow Retreats. The workshop-style morning classes offer a strong and focused practice combined with deep meditation. The evening classes focus on the yin qualities of the practice. Slow movement and longer holds in the poses allow your body to release tension and prepare you for a good night sleep in the jungle.

Bring your journal and get ready for some inner explorations and reflections. Through the daily practices and the day-trip, you will connect deeply to nature and the environment you are a part of. Enjoy the beautiful smells and sounds of the jungle while practicing in an open yoga space including the amazing surroundings where you will hold your practice and allow the powerful energy of the Peruvian forest to change the way you look at yourselves, your lives, and the world you live in.

The yoga sessions are combined with a sustainability module and a day trip through the beautiful rainforest mountains where you will get to learn about the importance of biodiversity and the sustainable initiatives you can support in the area. Elements that all enhance each other, leaving a lasting impact and making this a journey to never forget!

Together, you will move towards a more connected and holistic way of living. In your free time, you can relax in a hammock, swim in the river, go for nature walks, visit nearby towns, or just relax with a good book.

Sustainability module

Yoga retreats offer a unique opportunity to become still, dive deep, and reconnect. Connecting with yourselves opens the door for you to connect to life and the world you live in on a deeper level. This can feel like coming home, but can also be painful as you become fully aware of the pain that exists on the planet and how the collective actions have contributed to it.

This includes the state of the ecosystem and other urgent issues that are currently happening on a global level. Together, you will embark on an inward journey applying yoga, forgiveness, and self-discovery techniques to reveal practical ways you can share your heart’s calling and create a positive impact. The insights and connection gained during this module will be combined with practical tools to apply in your daily life and share with your community.

Global Flow Retreats supports you in joining the tribe of strong-hearted individuals who are passionate about the planet and ready to take steps towards a sustainable way of living for all.

Local sustainability project

In the middle of the week, you will go on a day trip, joining a beautiful local project that plants the seeds of environmental consciousness in local hosts, visitors, and future policymakers. Their work is invaluable in the maintenance of this amazing eco-system that serves everyone and allows initiatives like organic coffee, bee-keeping, horticulture, and eco-tourism to flourish.

A guide will accompany you on a walk through the environmental education area as you learn about the environment and the different benefits the biodiversity offers you. During the walk, you will stop at a beautiful natural swimming spot, cooling off in the clear water. And of course, you will get to enjoy a lovely local lunch.
