On this retreat, you get to take a break, connect with nature, and explore your yoga practice on and off the mat. Steffi will guide you through daily yoga sessions that will allow you to slow down and follow your inner roadmap during this week.
During this retreat, you will be staying in Chirapa Manta’s Eco Lodge. It is located in San Martin Region, Andean Amazon in North East Peruvian territory. You have the options to stay in a shared double room or a shared triple room with a private or shared bathroom. Chirapa Manta is a sustainable living project. The eco-lodge is built using natural materials and surrounded by the beautiful mountain forest that offers a friendly accessible landscape for you to enjoy.
During your stay, you will experience a lifestyle that leads to greater health in harmony with nature. In line with the eco-friendly nature of the accommodation, the toilets are all composting toilets that are used in permaculture processes. All beds are equipped with mosquito nets. When booking a double or triple room as a solo traveler, Global Flow Retreats will do their best to find the same gender roommate for you.
In case this is not possible, you will be required to upgrade to a single or double room respectively and pay the accompanying rate. When single rooms are not an option to book, Global Flow Retreats will look at an appropriate solution and rate with you.

In the middle of the week, you will go on a day trip, joining a beautiful local project that plants the seeds of environmental consciousness in local hosts, visitors, and future policymakers. Their work is invaluable in the maintenance of this amazing eco-system that serves everyone and allows initiatives like organic coffee, bee-keeping, horticulture, and eco-tourism to flourish.
A guide will accompany you on a walk through the environmental education area as you learn about the environment and the different benefits the biodiversity offers you. During the walk, you will stop at a beautiful natural swimming spot, cooling off in the clear water. And of course, you will get to enjoy a lovely local lunch.
One excursion trip on Wednesday is included in the price. You will go on a day trip, joining a beautiful local project that plants the seeds of environmental consciousness in local hosts, visitors, and future policymakers.
Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200 (Yoga)
Suze is a Psychologist, E-RYT200 yoga teacher, and an avid traveler. Being a searcher for her own unique way and personal growth, Suze started traveling and exploring from an early age on. At the University of Tilburg and Nijmegen, Suze studied Social and Cultural Psychology. During these studies, she also started practicing yoga and soon completed her first teacher training. Throughout the years, she continued expanding her knowledge in both areas and continued applying them in her coaching sessions and yoga classes.
Steffi started to teach to learn more about yoga. So in her classes, assisting and observing play are an important role. Steffi considers herself to always remain a student.
This retreat will take place in Andean Amazon, Peru. It is North Peruvian territory and is only a 40-minute ride from Tarapota City and the airport. The retreat center is surrounded by the Cumbaza River and the Cordillera Escalera Conservation Area.
During this retreat, you will be served with daily vegetarian brunch and dinner along with morning and afternoon snacks. You will also get to enjoy high quality, healthy meals prepared with local products. All meals will be vegetarian with vegan options where needed. If you have any food intolerances or allergies, please let Global Flow Retreats so they can inform the cook.
It is recommended to not drink tap water in most parts of Peru because of the chemical content. Sticking to bottled water or filtered water will save a lot of problems. During the retreat, you will be able to refill your water bottle with filtered water, to avoid the use of plastic.

Please book your flight to arrive at Cadete FAP Guillermo del Castillo Paredes Airport (TPP). It is only a 40-minute ride to the retreat center. You might, however, get better rates if you book a flight from Lima to a local flight to Tarapoto. Transfer from the airport is included. Airport pickups will run two times on the arrival day. This means Global Flow Retreats will group you with other participants based on your arrival time.
If you arrive before the pickup time, a driver from Chirapa Manta will be there to bring you to a coffee or juice bar where you can have something to drink and eat while waiting for the other participants. The cost of the pickup will be between 10 EUR to 15 EUR per person, depending on the number of people per pick up.
