Join Girls Guide to Paris for a fresh start to 2021 on a wellness retreat in Roatán, a gorgeous Caribbean island about 40 miles off the northern coast of Honduras. After all the anxiety and fear that 2020 produced and the normal holiday over-indulgences, it’s the perfect way to rejuvenate your minds, bodies, and spirits to prepare for an exciting new year. They're thrilled to be hosting this trip along with two close friends, Krista Stanley and Heide Shilstone, two of the best people you’ll ever meet and exceptional talents in unique wellness and spiritual modalities!
The Beach House is a charming beachfront boutique hotel situated on Half Moon Bay. Located in Roatán’s iconic West End village, The Beach House has nine guest suites, an on-site restaurant and bar, and a private dock with its own bar (Open from Thursday through Sunday evenings).
The guest suites are comprised of five ground-floor suites, three second-floor suites, and one third-floor suite. All suites have a full bathroom (complete with a hairdryer), television, ceiling fans, a mini-refrigerator stocked with drinking water, Wi-Fi, and of course, air conditioning. The beds are Sealy and they provide top quality Brooklinen cotton satin sheets.
All Girls Guide to Paris trips are organized and priced based on single occupancy at all the places they stay in. If you’re traveling with a friend/relative or would prefer to save some money by sharing a room, they can usually organize double occupancy and a reduction in cost. Occasionally, when you stay in private Chateaux properties that are older homes, some might need to share a bathroom. You will always be informed of this beforehand and normally, they will offer a price reduction to all those who sign up to share bathrooms.
This extended weekend will focus on detoxing your minds, bodies, and spirits as you learn more about yourselves. Focus heavily on gratitude and stretch your bodies as you stretch your minds.
At Girl’s Guide, they are all about camaraderie and bonding:
Discovering a new place with a small group of women is a completely different experience than going on your own or with a larger mixed group. After you first glass of wine on night one, the stories and laughter begin. By the end of the week, people have made life-long friends. Watching this beautiful connection happen is the magic of Girls’ Guide to Paris and Beyond.
The ladies who take GG2P's trips come from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and nationalities. All of their clients either have English as their first language or speak English comfortably. While others may organize trips based on age, GG2P believes that’s unnecessarily limiting. Their travelers range in age from 23 to 83, with the majority being 40-65.
But GG2P is always amazed at the close connections made between the 25 and the 75-year-old. It’s almost magical. It’s precisely this mix of women from different countries and at different points in their lives that GG2P believes make the trips so unique and special. Women of all ages know how to bond and overseeing and participating in that process is what GG2P is all about. This connection and bonding experience is powerful and it feels empowering for all involved.
More than 75% of intrepid travelers are single women traveling alone but they also get a lot of mother/daughters, sisters, and close friends. Many come back for their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th trip.
