Yoga Retreats (1)
Sabine Engelhardt started to practice Hatha, Asthanga and Iyengar Yoga in 1998, and trained as a Yoga teacher in India. Her focus is to create an atmosphere of peace, minfulness and appreciation, in which each participant can bring out their best. Being the innitiator of the Gea Viva project, she spends most of her time outdoors, which has given her a deep connection to the sacred unseen layers of the Earth. She meditates regularly and is passionate about supporting people to find their inner strength and unique expression in life, for which Yoga is a great path.

"Exactly what I needed!!! :)"
If you're looking to be pampered in some luxurious spa by a swimming pool, this is not your retreat. But if you want to get off the grid and reconnect with yourself and nature, I don't think you'll find a better one. The accommodations were spartan, just as advertised, which added to the "off the grid" feel that I was looking for. But just because it was spartan did not mean comfort was sacrificed. The canvas tents were spacious with a table, chair, and mosquito netted cot. The kitchen was interesting architecturally and efficient and practical for eating and cooking. And the sun-warmed water for showers worked great. The yoga dome was an ideal place for yoga in the morning and the stone circle auditorium was the perfect environment for meditation. There was also a hammock hut that I took advantage of many times for afternoon naps. The walks to beaches and evening picnic in the mountains rounded off an exceptional week of mindfulness.

"yoga retreat "
I was doing yoga for 1 week on the retreat of Sabine. By surprise i seemed to be the only one that booked the retreat. Sabine did not cancel my booking by not having enough attendees so i was having a personal retreat :D
The yoga was a nice flowing sequence, not to strong, but still a good challenge. I mannaged to do a head stand on my own !! The location off the bell tent is perfect for doing yoga.
The faccilities are basic. The tent in nice equipt, don't expect a high level of luxery. This is living in the outdoors, so if you love that.....This is the place to be !
Sabine is super kind and she will make you feel welcome ! She will help you with having a good stay !
