"I spent 4 nights at the Gayatri Villa and from the moment I arrived the staff made me feel right at home. They were so friendly and helpful, anything I needed they were happy to help. The location is a little bit outside of Ubud, but easy to get to with a scooter or cab (the cab cost 100k rupiahs each way.) Staying at Gayatri Villas was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted somewhere I could relax in a beautiful setting, do some yoga and lay by the pool. I had a delicious breakfast every morning sitting on my patio, looking at the rice fields. You really feel right in the midst of nature, and I loved listening to the crickets, frogs and birds. The only complaint I had was there was no mini fridge in the room (like it says on the website) and the restaurant was closed most days I was there due to a festival. I did still have breakfast, but on the days I just wanted to relax and have lunch or dinner at the villa, there was nothing to eat. The staff were lovely though and sent someone out to pick up food for me :). It was an amazing 4 days in an absolute paradise, I can't wait to go back!"

"Our stay at Gayatri was fantastic. The grounds are magnificent and there is a pool for every 2 or 3 apartments. Very spacious and clean with amazing views. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. It is about 20min away from Ubud but there is a small shop and several nice restaurants in the village. It is possible to rent scooters but there were none available while we were there."

"Ubud is the nicest town we have come across in Bali so far: temples, art, crafts, walks and delicious food."

"Yoga teacher was very experienced and knowledgeable. Flexible timing meant we could choose a time the suited both parties. "

"Be aware that the village is surrounded by rainforest and paddy fields so take some earplugs. The frogs and cokerels take their jobs seriously."

"We had a lovely time at Gayatri villa. The yoga class and infinity pool are the highlights. There was an insect in my room making a loud noise that we couldn't quite sleep. The bed sheets and linen were not clean - if these areas are looked into and improved on,the stay would have been better."

"Overall its a nice experience for the serenity and lush natural surroundings around."

"Very clean rooms with friendly staff. There were a few issues, but the new owner was very helpful and saw that the issues were addressed personally. The owner made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. It is a beautiful & peaceful location with magnificent views, only minutes away from Ubud."

"We booked this place without much information and it turned out to be the best experiences we could ever have in the art village Ubud. The place is in the central part of the town, 15 minutes by bicycle to the center. If you are looking for an authentic and also a luxury private resort experience with spiritual Balinese charm, this is the place for you. The beautiful pool is shared only by two groups of people so you have a very private feeling. We already wrote down the name of the room we were staying, because we will definitely come back!"

"It is so calm here as it is pretty far from the Ubud main road. It has a beautiful view as it is just before rice field. Friendly staffs and good food. Hey, take your swimsuit as it is a perfect place to swim while you consume the beauty of the sunset. Enjoy your life!"

"At almost three kilometers of Ubud, the Gayatri Villa offers a luxurious residence for two or more people wanting to take advantage of an upper-class taste, sound details, privacy, pool, special breakfast, quietness, free chauffeur to drive you to the city. And, as hoped in the spirit of Bali, the kindness of the manager and of all the personal."

"Staying there for several days is just a gift for every sensible and intelligent tourist wanting to get the best of this marvelous island and its population."

"Our stay at the Gayatri Villa was a once in a lifetime experience. We stayed in the Villa Pratiwi with my parents, three young children ages nine and 11. The villa itself is two story, with incredible views of the Sayan River Valley. There is a pool surrounded by beautiful local flowering trees and plants, which was well maintained every evening. "

"I travel to Bali and Ubud often for work and I have not found somewhere as beautiful as Gayatri Villa. There were eight of us and we needed constant support getting to and from appointments and social functions. The staff made everything run on time and hassle free. I recommend Gayatri villa for both business or a relaxing holiday."
