During this retreat, you will stay either in a private or a shared room. Porcaticcio Holiday Home is a beautiful old stone mansion in the forest that was found by Cornelis in very bad conditions back in 2006. Cornelis was determined to give it new life and, with will and skill, he worked constantly for nine years to renovate it. The property includes La Casa Torre and La Casetta and as an artist residence, there are works of art, paintings and sculptures, inside and outside the property.
La Casa Torre, with its 300 square meters, boast four double rooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, one studio, and two kitchens. This house has a gas-powered central for heating and hot water, a washing machine, a dining room with a sofa, and satellite television. The kitchen is well equipped with a stove with five burners and a 90-centimeter electric oven, a fridge with a freezer, a kettle, a toaster, and an Italian and American coffee machine.
During this retreat, you will experience three and a half daily hours of classes focused on each chakra. The practices will be divided each day in two 90-minute yoga classes and one 30-minute meditation practice. You will enjoy one early morning meditation practice, one yoga class in the morning and one yoga class in the late afternoon.
Extra personal training will also be available on demand. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy one trekking at the Gypsum Regional Park, an excursion to Dozza to see the mural paintings and the castle with its precious regional winery and a visit to Brisighella, the nicest medieval village in the area. Even if this is a yoga vacation, you can feel free to join or not to any activities. It is suggested to practice yoga at least every morning to get the benefits of it and to encourage a relaxed atmosphere with no obligations. Any partner with different interests than yoga who wishes to share this vacation is also welcome. Vinyasa yoga classes: the yoga practices will be for beginners and intermediate practitioners.
This retreat target any person looking for a calm and precise approach to built up a steady base for further practice. The word Vinyasa can be translated as “arranging something in a special way” and is used to describe a specific sequence of poses like chaturanga to upward-facing dog to downward-facing dog. Vinyasa yoga is a form of dynamic yoga that links asanas and breath in a stream. The transitions of Vinyasa movements close and open the asanas in an appropriate manner and with extreme care.
Each daily practice will be focused on one chakra relating to a specific psycho-physical aspect:
