Santa Teresa is one of the world's most beautiful places with a really lovely vibe. Many go there for the amazing climate, surf waves, and yoga. The village consists of a charming gravel road with the beach on one side and the jungle of others. Here, you will find many fantastic restaurants with dishes from around the world.
During the day, you can find various activities such as snorkeling, surfing, yoga, boating, diving, day trips on nature reserves, eating good food and coffee, and finish the day with a cold smoothie at sunset on the beach with your friends. The sun down here is great and strong, so sunscreen 50 is recommended.
Please book your flight to arrive at San Jose International Airport (SJC).
From there, you can take a long but very beautiful bus tour through the jungle to Santa Teresa. Or, you can fly directly to Tambor Airport (TMU) and take a taxi to Santa Teresa.
There are daily shuttles that leave from San Jose hotels around 8 a.m. each morning. These shuttles are approximately 45-50 USD per person and they will bring you directly to the hotel. The drive time is a bit longer than when renting a car because you will be sharing the shuttle with several others and they must pick up and drop off at several hotels. There is also an option of driving along coastal roads for about 220 USD that can pick up based on your schedule.
