Come aboard with YogaSail on a relaxing sailing retreat on the Adriatic Sea and enjoy daily yoga with the team on the beautiful Croatian Islands, while picking from a menu of great adventures from yoga, snorkeling, swimming, to relaxing in the spa or on a deck while you sail in the sunset and watch the dolphins. You will stay, for 3 nights, on the yacht, in a cabin. You may select a private cabin with double bed, for single or double occupancy, or a shared cabin, with twin beds. The cabins are equipped with small beds (double or twin) and have en-suite bathrooms (head) with toilet, wash hand basin and shower, linen, and light blanket.
You will have yoga classes with the qualified instructors in the morning and / or evening. The instructors will tailor the yoga to your ability, absolute beginners are welcome as are experienced yogis and whether you are a seasoned sailor or a complete beginner, you will enjoy these amazing unspoiled seas. You can come on your own or part of a group and everybody gets stuck in, why not make new friends who share the same passions.
This yoga, sail, relax holiday in Croatia begins at Pula. You will practice together again either mid-afternoon or a special sunset practice. All of your classes will be held at breathtaking locations overlooking the Adriatic sea. The evenings are left for you to explore and dine in the local surroundings.
Weather dependent, you will visit Veruda, the Brunei Islands, and much more! You will usually start the day with yoga practice then sail across to the next destination to explore.
Jayne's teaching philosophy is to make yoga available to everyone from beginner to advanced levels. "Every Body" can do yoga, yoga on a mat, a chair and even lying down! Jayne has studied the Krishnamacharya lineage of Vinyasa yoga in India and Mexico as well as studying with leading yogis Laura Kasperzack and Dashama Gordon, combining traditional and modern yoga to bring you a fun, vibrant, practice each time. She teaches Vinyasa and Power yoga wherever in the world she travels and you will probably see her down dog on every landmark that she visits.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Yoga)
Since 2000, yoga has become a part of Julia's life. She studied Vedic Astrology in Latvia, practiced different styles of yoga until she has discovered a Vinyasa Flow. In 2014, she completed 200 hours teacher training under the tutelage of certified Baptiste master teachers Claire Este-McDonald and Gregor Singleton. Claire’s unique and healing style of practice inspired her further education in experiential anatomy, traditional Chinese medicine, and Yin Yoga. Scaravelli yoga continues influencing and shaping her healing yoga style. She proceeds to work with Peter Blackaby and Garry Carter and has enrolled to become a yoga therapist.
On this retreat, you will be sailing on the Adriatic Sea.
Breakfast, lunch, snacks, fruit, soft drinks and water are included. Dinner is optional and can be decided by the group if they wish to visit restaurants or dine at anchor in a beautiful cove (in which case a small kitty is collected). Beer and wine can be ordered in at request or guests may bring their own.
As part of the retreat the Kurba Vela promotes delicious and healthy plant-based meals, with plentiful vegan and vegetarian foods. It has been very popular, even with guests who are not used to eating that way and guests usually say how much better they feel after the retreat! If you have any special dietary requirements please let the team know ahead of the sail.
Please book your flight to arrive at Pula Airport (PUY). Transfer from and to the airport can be arranged for 20 GBP each way.
