Yoga Weeks Barcelona invites you to join this detox and yoga retreat in the heart of Barcelona. You will be guided through natural vegan nutrition, combined with daily yoga classes for a full detox and reset experience. With personal wellness consultation at the beginning and final assessment at the end of your week, this program will transform your life into new healthy and sustainable habits, leaving the program with a new energy and vitality.

During the retreat, you will stay at Yoga Weeks Center, which was built in a big and beautiful modernistic house in the heart of Barcelona. The building was built in 1890 and has been conserved with all its magic features, such as Nolla colorful flooring, high and decorated ceilings, long and airy corridors, and a smart distribution of the rooms allowing all of them to have access to outdoor spaces, such as internal patios or balconies.
All rooms are spacious and carefully designed by one of the most creative design studios in Barcelona. They are restored to bring a modernistic and relaxing vibe to this beautiful space. The result is a welcoming, highly beautiful, and comfortable center to stay, relax, socialize, and practice yoga. All rooms are based on twin shared basis. Private rooms are also available upon request.
There is a beautiful gallery which brings the natural light to enjoy the practice. The brunch or breakfast is served after the class in the gallery, where you will have a big breakfast table and sitting area. There is also a beautiful and private outdoor patio with hammocks and showers where you can relax, sunbathe, and enjoy a chat.
These spaces will become your relaxing areas during the day, where you can hang out, relax, keep practicing with the yoga trapeze and mats, and socialize or enjoy one of the additional treatments.
You will also have access to a fully equipped kitchen and your own storage space if you would like to use it. However, please note that strictly only vegetarian food are kept in the house.
The communal areas and all bedrooms will be cleaned everyday in the morning to ensure that you feel as comfortable as possible. You are asked to remain mindful of your fellow guests and respect the kitchen and all communal areas through the day.
The house has an airy yoga space with a chimney and a long wall to practice. There is also an amazing rooftop located at the top of the building. It is a unique space equipped with changing rooms and amazing outdoor showers to practice yoga whilst enjoying a great view of the sunrise and the sunset overlooking the city.
The program is developed by Martha Reval, a nutritionist and naturopath, and consists of a week of daily vegan meals, natural juices, soups, medicinal plants and herbs, and plenty of hydration that will ensure nutrition needs are met and the detox is maximized.
The aim of this program is not only to reset and detox for a week, but also to transform into new healthy and sustainable habits in your diet, as well as help to reduce any accumulated toxins in the body, especially if overindulged over the festive period. You will have a personal wellness consultation at the beginning of the week, daily catch up check, and final assessment at the end of your week.
It is highly recommended to not smoke or consume any alcohol through this week, restrict eating outside the set meals, and please use this week to take some time for yourself, allowing some attention and reflection to your bodies.
The yoga classes are tailored to assist this program, working on the digestive system. You will combine restorative posture and dynamic practices to give a boost to the metabolism. Arlette Amouyan will be in charge of the retreat practices.

Arlette s'est d'abord inscrite à une formation de la fondation British Wheel of Yoga puis a suivi une formation de professeur de yoga de 500h avec BWY et des stages complémentaires pendant des année. Elle enseigne maintenant depuis 7 ans, à Londres, en France et à Ibiza, des cours en groupe ou individuel, dans des spas et des centres de bien-être ainsi que lors de nombreuses retraites. Elle enseigne le yoga ahstanga et vinyasa, qui sont traditionnellement des styles de yoga plus dynamiques. Elle garde une structure flexible, laissant de l'espace pour les besoins individuels et pour un aspect exploratoire de l'enseignement.
Ana a débuté son voyage holistique après être déménagée à Barcelone où elle travaillait dans un environnement où tout bougeait rapidement, durant de longues heures et avec beaucoup de stress. Le yoga est alors devenu un moyen de trouver un équilibre. Après plusieurs années de pratique du yoga, elle a pris la décision de laisser derrière elle le monde corporatif pour un travail et une vie plus valorisants.
The retreat will take place in Carme street, a quite street in the heart of the city, where you will be able to find and explore all the best spots in Barcelona. The center is located behind La Boqueria Market, which is the main and one of the oldest local food markets in the city and an amazing place to walk and explore local food in a great buzzy market.
It is also located between the popular street of Las Ramblas, which is one of the most beautiful promenades of the city and minutes walk from the seafront and the beach.
During the retreat, you will be served daily detox menu. It consists of vegan meals, natural juices, soups, medicinal plants and herbs, and plenty of hydration that will ensure nutrition needs are met and the detox is maximized.
Massages and spa services are available at additional costs. Yoga Weeks Barcelona has two beautiful spas nearby as well as the possibility to arrange for private treatment in the retreat center with a highly qualified massage therapist and energy worker.
Please book your flight to arrive at Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN). You are encouraged you to fly in and out on our normal working hours, every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., which will help Yoga Weeks Barcelona to give you the best welcome possible.
From the airport, you may use taxi or take airbus. The airbus is a daily service between Plaça de Catalunya and Barcelona Airport. It has a frequency of every 10 minutes and runs from both terminals. Approximate journey time is 35 minutes. Last and main stop is Plaça Catalunya, which is about five-minute walk to Yoga Weeks Barcelona. Once in the Plaça, walk down the famous street of Las Ramblas and turn right after five minutes to Carme Street number 40.
Please take a bus to arrive at main bus station Barcelona, Estació del Nord. When arriving by bus at the Barcelona Estacio del Nord, head towards the metro entrance and buy a single or 10 pass metro ticket. Catch the L1 red line towards Hospital de Bellvitge and stop at Plaça Catalunya.
Please take the train to arrive at Barcelona main national and international station, Barcelona Sants railway station. Sants train station has connection with all main urban metro lines. To arrive at Yoga Weeks Barcelona, buy a single or 10 pass metro ticket. Catch the L3 green metro line towards Canyelles, and stop at Liceu. From there, it is only two-minute walk. Head up to Las Ramblas and turn left into Carme Street 40.
