Meet the Caribbean dream while you unwind, restore and renew by sailing around the shores of this archipelago fantasy. You will find the peace, love and harmony of San Blas within yourself. You can wake up to amazing yoga practices in different island settings and eat nourishing local food prepared by Yoga Retreats in Panama with the freshest ingredients. Enjoy the endless sunrises and sunsets while meditating in the to-die-for San Blas!
The retreat will take place inside Nikita Catamarán that will be cruising around the most beautiful turquoise water islands while doing yoga, fishing, swimming and having fun! The catamarán will rest every night at a different island where you can wake up, do some yoga, take a walk, swim, use the kayaks for a morning cardio love or just sunbathe with the best views. All 3 rooms are pretty basic yet comfortable for your needs. Each one includes a private shower and bathroom, a small closet and comfy beds with optional windows over and across you, so you can smell and hear the ocean while you sleep.
Yoga Retreats in Panama will be picking everybody up on Thursday morning (06:00) at a local coffee shop, which we will be decided in advance. You will return on Sunday at around 17:00 in the city. During this retreat, you can enjoy the natural swimming pool that is around you 24 / 7. Every day, this private ocean pool is just for you. You will also relish in the San Blas eco-friendly environment. Come sail away and find the true paradise inside and outside the magical San Blas.
This retreat includes sunrise and sunset yoga sessions surrounded by palm trees and beautiful pristine deserted islands just for you. These include various yoga styles, such as Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative and Kundalini. A slow-paced Hatha Flow is aimed at lengthening, loosening and relaxing the body and mind. Restorative yoga promises you complete relaxation, centering on the breath and body, aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time.
Vinyasa yoga is a breath-synchronized movement, a fluid and flowing practice to strengthen body and mind. Kundalini is a highly energetic practice that focuses on moving your vital force and gets you to hold poses for 2 to 11 minutes, targeting the glandular system and stimulates personal growth.
You will have kayaks available on board to take little trips around, where you will be anchored. Remember, these islands are tiny and the paradise that you see from across might change dramatically once you distance yourself just a bit. Kayaking is a great way to get the island groove even more personal.
You can always choose to camp your blankets and pillows at the Catamarán deck, watch the stars and maybe even fall asleep. You can just sleep on top of the Caribbean Ocean and decide to go to sleep early or gaze at the moon for a bit longer.
San Blas is well known for its white sandy beaches, as well as its tiny islands and very well-kept surroundings by the natives who also give you so much from their ancient wisdom. You will be visiting native towns and getting soaked into their culture as much as the crew wants. Either way, you are your own captains.
Guna Yala, which is the true name for this famous archipelago, is the perfect escape from anyone’s hectic life. While San Blas doesn’t have real hotels, bars, or nightlife, the days are filled with palm trees and sun. Your nights will be guided by the stars and the cool Caribbean breeze that is always around the quiet oceans of this piece of paradise.
Your breakfast will include light nourishment of tropical fruits, grains, nuts and dried fruits with honey, tea and coffee as well as plant-based milks. At lunchtime, there will be traditional island foods mixed with healthy Californian vibes. At night, you can drink some wine, beer or tea with your delicious dinner.
Although you will be sailing and exploring together during your trip, there is a couple of things you can do on your own:
Choose to fish with the locals. During your trip, the guides are very good fisherman. This is how they live and get some money to contribute to their homes. You can experience this part of their culture and take home one of the most amazing experiences.
If you would like to visit and participate in a native ceremony, please contact Yoga Retreats in Panama in advance, they might be able to pull this up for the group and you! This is an amazing way to welcome the culture spiritually and energetically.
