Pension Marjan is located at the beach on the southern side of the Island of Hvar, in Zavala, across the islet Šćedro with a view over Korčula, surrounded by pebble beaches, olive gardens, and vineyards.
This part of the island is not like the city of Hvar, which offers a crazy night-life. There is only peace and quiet here. It offers satisfaction for the mind and the soul, relaxation that you need for the long winter days to come. With specialties from Hvar and a glass of authentic wine, everything else will not matter. Hvar offers a richness of nature which the locals turn into traditional home-made delicacies.
At their tavern in Pitve, they manufacture three wine sorts, white wines Bogdanjuša and Mukat, red wine Plavac Mali, as well as various other products based on traditional recipes including liqueurs made from loquat, travarica (a blend of herbs), sour cherry, walnuts, and lemon. They make jams from oranges, sour cherries, lemon, sage salt, arancini, chamomile tea, sage, and mint. Also, they have vegetable creme and oil.
Their leisure activities, which include cycling, walking, hiking, diving, fishing, and windsurfing, are always a good idea after trying all these delicacies. Pension Marjan offers three newly furnished, comfortable suites and five rooms furnished with additional accessories. All rooms have a balcony with a view over the sea, Wi-Fi, toilet and a shower, king-size bed, and a retractable bed. The service is either full board or half board.
Pansion Marjan is 20 meters from the beach and nearby the FKK beach. They offer the trip to their autochthonic tavern in Pitve, olive garden, wine and oil tasting sessions, trips to Šćedro. Their special eco-products are their own production of groceries and selection of wine, oil, liqueurs, jams, tea, lavender, essential oil. As arranged by you, they will serve Dalmatian cuisine including bread furnace, baking bell, vegetarian, gluten-free, and fish and meat specialties.
Their other amenities are boat berth, free Wi-Fi and parking, pets allowance, and daily cleaning and washing service. Pension Marjan offer rooms based on their colors.
The green suite is newly furnished, located on the first floor of the house, on its southern side. It has a kitchen and a living room with a bedroom, two toilets, two large balconies with a view over the sea, satellite television, and alternating current. The couch in the living room is retractable, which offers another bed. The apartment can accommodate four persons.
The red suite is newly furnished, located on the ground floor of the house. It has a kitchen, a living room, terrace, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The retractable couch in the living room is easily turned into an additional bed. The apartment can accommodate four persons. The suite is equipped with alternating current and satellite television.
The yellow apartment is newly renovated, located on the ground floor of the house on the south side. It consists of kitchen, living room, bathroom, terrace overlooking the sea. The apartment has satellite television and air conditioning. The armchair in the living room is foldaway and can also serve as an extra bed. The capacity of the apartment is three persons.
Rooms number one, two, three, four, and five are located on the second floor and provide you with a wonderful view over the sea from the balconies. Every room includes a bedroom with a king-size bed, a toilet, alternating current and satellite television. Room number seven is also situated on the second floor, on its northern side. The room includes a bedroom with toilet, king-size bed, alternating current and satellite television.

During this holiday, you will join an interesting and dynamic program managed by an experienced yoga teacher from Studio One Split, Damir Bozinovic, including a pleasant combination of exercise, relaxation, and education, daily yoga and pranayama practices for stress management and rejuvenation, and meditation techniques to calm the mind and emotions.
You will also learn how to live according to your highest potential, learn how to strengthen your aura and protect yourself from negativity, cultivate good habits of success and happiness, and develop faith in your ability to live according to your highest potential. You will stay at an accommodation in a pleasant ambiance of the Pitve and Zavala, taste healthy delicious diet including vegetarian, vegan, and other meals, and enjoy the crystal clear sea, the sun, and lonely beaches every day.
This program includes two free excursions. One is a boat excursion on the island of Šćedro and the second one is on top of Hvar Island.
The retreat will take place on Hvar Island, Croatia. The location of villa is in the private 2000-square-meter area, in nature with beautiful views of island, sea, and city. It is widely believed that Hvar was named after the oldest form of the word "pharos", which was the name that the Greeks named their colony in 382 B.C. There have been Italian names for the island, such as Lesina.

Daily full board vegan and organic meals are included in the prices. The private chef serves all day long so you can make a wish and it will be on the table.
On the complex, there is a swimming pool, sauna, fireplace outside, lots of areas to relax, free bikes to use, laundry room, multi-functional playground for basketball, soccer, and volleyball. There is also a playground for children, lots of fruits growing on complex, and private winery for your free time.
The ferry port of Stari Grad is connected to Split and the journey time to Zavala is approximately 20 minutes. The road takes you through the beautiful south side of the island. There is a car park within the Pension Marjan. A gas station for cars and ships is located in Jelsa and Vrboska.
The port of Sućuraj is connected to Drvenik on the mainland and it is farther away from Zavala since it is located on the other side of the island. Nevertheless, this route saves time for tourists arriving from Dubrovnik, Mostar, Sarajevo, etc. There is a car park within the Pension Marjan. A gas station for cars and ships is located in Jelsa and Vrboska.
Please book your flight to arrive at Split Airport (SPU). Since 2015, a hydrofoil route connects Jelsa and Hvar to several Croatian tourist destinations. The benefit of traveling by hydrofoil is the proximity of the seaport to the Split Airport (SPU), from where you can fly to Hvar. Split Airport (SPU) is the closest airport to the island of Hvar.
There are shuttle buses to Split seaport with departure frequency of 20 minutes. If there is no direct flight from your destination to Split, you can arrange to fly with a layover in Zagreb Airport (ZAG), which is well-connected to Split.
The closest bus station is in Split right next to the ferry port. Split is well-connected to all bus routes. There are bus lines on the island of Hvar, e.g. daily departures between Zavala to Stari Grad and Jelsa, with tickets sold in the buses.
Hvar is well connected by ferry lines with the mainland within the region of Split including Split to Stari Grad, Drvenik to Sućuraj, and Split to Hvar. The summer sailing schedule is valid from May 31 to September 28. During the summer months, some ferry lines have more departures, which include hydrofoils.
Hvar is connected at the port Stari Grad through a coastal ferry line (three departures a week): Rijeka - Zadar- Split - Stari Grad - Korčula - Dubrovnik - Bari, as well as with the international high-speed daily ferry line Pescara - Stari Grad - Split, and the international ferry line (two departures a week) Ancona - Stari Grad - Split - Korčula. Jadrolinija is the main Croatian ferry company that connects most of the Croatian islands to the mainland by regular passenger and car ferry services along the Croatian coast. Catamaran routes between Italy and Hvar are available.
All the Croatian cities are well-connected by train except for Dubrovnik. Croatia has direct routes to Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Serbia, Montenegro, and indirectly to almost all European countries. The railway station closest to Hvar is in Split, right next to the bus station and ferry port.
