The kitchen and lounge are available for retreat participants, as well as the outdoor decking area and half an acre garden, which has a stream at the bottom. In the winter, the wood-burner in the lounge keeps everything cozy, and in the summer, there's no better place to be than out on the decking, watching the sun go down. Mid season, we sit by the fire pit and contemplate the moon and stars.
The yoga studio is available for your own practice out of dedicated workshop time. Places are limited to eight participants, so the environment is supportive, personal, and holding. People love the peace and quiet here, the rural tranquility, as well as nearly 30 years of practice that has gone into the fabric of the place.
All guests are made to feel very welcome and supported in their journey throughout the retreat, responding spontaneously to any needs as they arise. Harnsers End is within walking distance of Itteringham village with shop, pub and cafe, and also the beautiful woods of the Blickling Hall estate, which are within a 10 minute walk of the house. You can go along footpaths and find the river Bure, and enjoy the rural tranquility of this beautiful place.
Accommodation will be allocated on a first come basis.

Arrive on Tuesday afternoon from 3 p.m. onward. Enjoy a delicious home-cooked organic wholefood supper before getting to know like-minded people, relaxing and settling down into your comfortable room.
Each morning starts at 8 a.m. with an hour of Yasodhara Yoga Hatha yoga session, which is carefully planned with complimenting the daily workshop in mind. Breakfast is at 9 a.m. and you have until 10 a.m. to relax before the morning workshop.
On Wednesday morning, at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., we enter into the Kundalini System and explore the chakras one by one, unfolding the key symbols and concepts associated with each level of consciousness.
Lunch is after the morning workshop and may be held in silence, depending on what is being explored during the day. There is then time to go for a walk, read, rest, relax, and simply please yourself. There may also be reflections to consider from the morning workshop during that time.
The second half of the workshop is from 3 until 5 p.m., after which you have nearly an hour until supper, which is at 5:45 p.m. After supper, satsang will be offered to those who would like to take part, from 7 to 7:45 p.m. This is entirely optional. You then have the rest of the evening to carry on relaxing, unwinding, and reflecting.
On Thursday, we go further into the Kundalini system and explore our goals and intentions through meditation, chanting, visualization, relaxation, and reflecting. These allow us to bypass the intellect and allow the intuition to guide us. We look back on the work that we've done and learn how to take forward our ideals and put them into practice in daily life.
Thursday evening is the same as Wednesday. There is a Hatha yoga and relaxation session from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, and departure is by 12:30 p.m. If you'd like to stay on for a few more days retreat, you are of course very welcome, by arrangement.
