Programme

In this teacher training program, you will be given individual guidance and training on how to handle yoga classes by yourself. The teachers with a pure unconditioned mind will be mirroring what you are and assist you to evolve by understanding yourself, this will enable you to teach from your heart and soul. Whether you plan to teach yoga or want to develop your own personal practice, this training course offer you a great opportunity for a real life change.

This course makes you immerse in the subject considering the eight limbs of yoga, known as yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, prathyahara, dharana, dyana, and samadhi. In addition, there will be a three days silent meditation that is part of the course, as well as Karma yoga sessions of which the timings will be announced during the course. Also, there are various areas in this course for you to learn and go deeper.

Sri Vijay Gopala
Sri. Vijay Gopala is recognized as a Senior Yoga Teacher (SYT) with Yoga Alliance UK. This accreditation demonstrates excellent standards as set by Yoga Alliance UK. He has been teaching yoga for more than 20 years and besides this, he is a personal trainer who provides one-to-one life transformation sessions and self-evolving programs. Born in Mysore, India, capital of the yoga world, from his childhood Vijay Gopala drawn to the discipline of yoga thanks to his father who guided him.

This yoga teacher training program will be held at Yoga Gita, it is located in the tranquil area of Gokulam; city of Mysore in South India. Mysore is the yoga capital of southern India and with around 1,000,000 inhabitants, the third-largest city in the state Karnataka in India. Mysore is also known as the city of palaces and a popular travel destination in South India.

In addition, the city was earlier the capital of the Wodeyar rulers. The Wodeyar rulers were great patrons of art and culture, therefore, you will be able to see the rich heritage of the city. Moreover, Mysore is about four hours drive away from the Bengaluru International Airport (BLR).

Please book your flight to arrive at Bengaluru International Airport (BLR). Yoga Gita can help you to book a taxi from Bangalore International Airport (BLR) to Mysore, the journey takes about four hours drive. In addition, direct busses between Bangalore and Mysore can also be taken as well.
