The southeastern corner of the Big Island is home to the district of Puna, a historical area that offers countless treasures. Bigger than the island of Oahu, Puna is a colorful and culturally distinct enclave of artists, writers, permaculture farmers and a thriving counter culture community. Here you can feel free to slow down, completely unwind and explore the extraordinary abundance: from rain forests and farms blossoming with papayas, mangoes, orchids and macadamia nuts to transcendental lava-lands and truly spectacular coastal views.

The Big Island of Hawaii is a place of diversity and beauty. Rare, endangered plant and animal life, pristine micro-climates - from snow-covered peaks to lava deserts to lush tropical rainforest - the world's most massive mountain (Mauna Loa at 19,000 cubic miles) and tallest from its base (33,000 feet), plus the earth's most active volcano (Kilauea) are some of the awe-inspiring treasures of the island.

Hawaii is the land of tropical fruit and nuts. Our Yandara chefs travel to Hawaii and attend daily the local farmers markets and natural food stores ensuring only freshest organic ingredients are used to create their Hawaiian menu. Special to Hawaii are island grown tropical fruit and nut bowls served at breakfast, macadamia nut pesto with quinoa pasta, sunflower 3 sprout salad with grated Daikon radish, lentil and sweet potato stew and fresh mint iced tea. The fruit bowl overflows 24/7 with island grown papayas, baby bananas, coconuts and pineapple.

Yandara has put together a yogic menu of additional offerings that you may choose to add to enhance or deepen your teacher training experience. While not in class you may choose to explore your astrological birth chart, determine your Ayurvedic constitution, adjust with a chiropractor, relax with a massage and/or align your energy and heal with Reiki.

Please note, however, the additional offerings are subject to professional availability and space is also limited. Sign up for services begins the second day of training. Fees are payable at the end of training with cash, credit/debit card or paypal.
