In this retreat, you will be staying at TCDF Eco-Logic, a resort for charity which is established to support the Thai Child Development Foundation. 100% of resort profits go to the projects of the foundation. An integral part of the retreat is spending time with the children and the Thai people, learning, and playing together. By coming on this retreat, you are contributing to a better life for these children and creating a cycle of good karma for yourself and others.
Eco-Logic is located in Pak Song, a small village in Southern Thailand. It's the place where you can spend time on a wonderful holiday and where you can be activities involved working in the gardens and farm. You will have options to choose your type of room; riverside bungalow room and riverside room.
Each bungalow room is equipped with a beautiful garden, access to the river, and a number of sitting areas and gardens with campfire places. Every bungalow has a big porch with a beautifully decorated bench. The bungalows are situated at the foot of the mountain and are all very close to the river. From your bungalow, it is easy to go to the riverside. You can enjoy the view from each bungalow that is a river and rain forest.
The bungalow has a bed annexed to a living room with a double bed, a cupboard with Chinese doors, a desk, a fridge, a coffee corner, and a small sitting area. The bathroom has a hot water shower, a Thai style shower (water from a well), a small sink and a western toilet.
Of course, the bathroom is beautifully decorated too. As everything is in the bungalow, you will find stone decorations on the outside of the house, murals in the bed and bathroom, and wooden decorations on the wall. The cupboards, furniture, and chairs are made of wood by the local craftsmen. Sheets, bedcovers, blankets, pillows, mosquito nets, and towels are present in each bungalow.
Next to the bungalows, there is much more you can find on the mountain, for example, the resort’s family apartment, rooms, the dormitory, a restaurant, gardens (flower, herbal, and vegetable), the river, stables and horses, places for children to do activities, a sport field, a playground, and of course the Thai Child Development Foundation.

Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Hatha Yoga)
Rosie is a yoga teacher and thai massage therapist, and has spent the past five years travelling and teaching in the yoga and wellness industry internationally. She offers a Hatha flow style of yoga with a strong focus on the breath and awareness so that each practice becomes a meditation in motion. Her personal practice is based on self-love and building harmony between all the little parts of herself through a balance of energizing and restorative practices. Having seen in herself the transformative powers of yoga, she believes it can bring a little more sunshine into everyone's life.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Ashtanga Yoga)
Natasha hails from Canada and has spent the past year traveling, studying, and teaching yoga, as well as discovering a love for the practice that has transformed her life. She believes that yoga is a practice both on and off the mat. She aims to cultivate an awareness of mindfulness, presence, and gratitude through her yoga teachings and online blog posts at Gypsy Glitter Soul. Having been both a guest and teacher on yoga retreats around the world, Natasha believes in the positive, life-altering benefits of this practice, and is excited to share her light and love with you.
This retreat will take place at TCDF Eco-Logic, Pak Song, Phato, Chumphon, Thailand.
TCDF Eco-Logic is located in the most northern province of the south, Chumphon province, where the land is only 75 kilometers wide in between east and west coast line the middle of that area, high up in the mountains. The closest city nearby is the city of Ranong. TCDF Eco-Logic is situated on a beautiful, but rather isolated spot named Pak Song village. Getting there is nevertheless no problem.
During this retreat, you will be provided with three wholesome farm-to-table Thai vegetarian meals daily. Alcoholic drinks and extra snacks are also available at extra costs.
TCDF Eco-Logic serves incredible meals using fresh healthy ingredients sourced from their own organic farm and gardens, or from local suppliers. Eco-Logic can cater to your dietary requirements.The bar serves fresh coffee, tea, shake, health drinks, wine, beers, soft drinks, cocktails, and more. You will eat each meal family style around a long table, and meals are served buffet self-serve style so you can eat as much as you like!
In the area of Pak Song, there is a lot of activities that can be done. TCDF Eco-Logic offers you various activities such as river rafting, a Thai culture and language course, daytrips in the area like beach and hot springs, Thai massages, body scrub, and oil massages, Thai language workshops, free rent bike to explore the area, working in the gardens, and much more.
TCDF Eco-Logic also supports the Thai Child Development Foundation because children are important to them. They organize special activities for kids too such as cooking courses for kids, planting trees, visiting weekend activities with local kids, a visit to a local school, day trips to the hot springs, day trips to the beach, bamboo rafting, and more.
Please book your flight to arrive at Ranong Airport (UNN). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Whole and Happy Retreat will pick you up from the airport.
There are several departure points you can take to get to Pak Song via Ranong.
Depart from Bangkok, you go to Southern Bus Terminal. Get out in Ranong. From there you take a bus to Pak Song. The driving time will take around eight to nine hours.
Depart from Phuket, you go to Central Bus Station near Phuket City Center. Get out in Ranong. From there you take a bus to Pak Song. The driving time will take around four to five hours.
Depart from Had Yai, you go to the bus station. This bus passes Phato and Pak Song before reaching Ranong. Get out at the Pak Song intersection, after you pass Phato. The driving time will take around eight hours.
Depart from Surathanee, you go to the bus station at Talaad Kaset 2 behind Thai Thani Hotel. This bus passes Phato and Pak Song. Get out at the Pak Song intersection, after you pass Phato. The driving time will take around four hours.
Depart from Surathanee, you go to the bus station at Talaad Kaset 1 and take a non-airconditioned bus opposite side of the main road. This bus passes Phato and Pak Song. Get out at the Pak Song intersection after you passed Phato. The driving time will take around five hours.
Depart from Krabi, you go to the bus station at Talaad Kao on the highway. Get out in Ranong. From there, you take a bus to Pak Song. The driving time will take around six hours.
You can also reach Pak Song via Lang Suan. All the busses from Bangkok to any destination in the south (east coast) will stop in Lang Suan. Some will be in the town, some will be in the second bus station on the main highway (10 kilometers from town). The other way round is also true, every bus from the southeast (Surathanee, Hadyai, et cetera) will stop in Lang Suan on its way to Bangkok.
When you arrive at Lang Suan by bus, you can you take a motorcycle taxi to the market (Talaad). Close to the market, you'll find the bus station with the local red busses. Take a bus direction to Ranong. There is an 11 o’clock bus and 17.00 o’clock bus. Get out in Pak Song (it will take one hour on the bus).
TCDF Eco-Logic can also organize a taxi-service from Lang Suan to the place. The costs and pick up time are available upon request.
Traveling by train is very comfortable, but it will take a bit more time. You have to travel to Lang Suan. You can choose to arrive in the morning or in the afternoon (you can check the Thai Railway website for exact times and a schedule). Once you are in Lang Suan, you cross the railway, towards the market (Talaad) of Lang Suan. There will be motorcycle taxies at the train station that can bring you there.
Close to the market you'll find the bus station with the local red buses. Take a bus with direction to Ranong. There is an 11:00 a.m. bus and a 5:00 p.m. bus.
Get out in Pak Song (75 minutes on the bus).
