Programme

Students who do not have the time to complete the 200 Hours Yoga course in the traditional four weeks, Vinyasa yoga Ashram offers you the opportunity to complete the 200 hours yoga teacher training in two sections. the first section of the 200 hours TTC which is 100 hours TTC will be completed at the yoga ashram. After completing the first 100 hours you are free to complete the remaining 100 hours within the same year in any month when you have time to visit again at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. These two semesters must be completed within the year of commencement, the certificate will be awarded to the student once all of the required hours, assignments and examinations are successfully completed.

Aim of yoga education

Yoga education helps in self-discipline and self-control, leading to the immense amount of awareness, concentration and a higher level of consciousness. Briefly, the aims and objectives of yoga education are:

1) To enable the student to have good health

2) To practice mental hygiene

3) To possess emotional stability

4) To integrate moral values

5) To attain a higher level of consciousness

Yoga education could help to equip oneself with basic knowledge about one’s personality, to learn to handle oneself well in all life situations, to learn techniques of gaining good health, to develop a discriminating mind capable of knowing the real from the unreal and to face the qualities of life with equanimity.

All classes are mandatory only in case of an emergency or illness one can take leave with respected teacher permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted and this will leave bad impression on student monthly performance.

Prerequisites

A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. The practice and especially the teaching of yoga demand a high degree of self-discipline and purity. To ensure the success of the programme, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures and asana classes. Meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, drugs and nudity are prohibited during the course as they are counterproductive to the yoga practice. Participants who do not comply with the ashram rules may be dismissed from the course.

Discipline rules for students

  • Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the ashram.
  • If you are having a fast any day, you have to inform kitchen manager for avoiding food waste.
  • Always make discipline, respect teachers and follow all rules.
  • Always be in the time, you are late means will not be permitted to join the class.
  • Clear your books of account before departure from Vinyasa Yoga Ashram.
  • Before departure, please return your books, maps or any goods which you borrowed.
  • Vinyasa Yoga Ashram provides accommodation for a student who joins the yoga course. So any friends or relatives will not be included in accommodation however they can stay in the ashram by renting another room.
  • Student has to be present in all scheduled program of Vinyasa Yoga Ashram.

Refund policy - Vinyasa Yoga Ashram

An advance of course fees will not be refundable, only in the case of emergency students can join us on other schedules. If a student cancels the course after joining it, Vinyasa Yoga Ashram accepts cancellation but course fees will not be refunded in cancellation. There is no charge of course cancellation.

Yogi Pradeep Ji is guru of pranayama, shatkarma and asanas in Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. Pradeep Ji has completed his master degree in yoga sciences and he has more than 2 years of teachings experienced in the path yoga. Pradeep Ji is leading yoga teacher training courses for 2 years with full of sincerity and dedication in India as well as around the world.
Yogi Mohit Ji
Yogi Mohit Ji is a very popular yoga philosophy teacher in Rishikesh. His wisdom in the field of yoga is very board, and his teachings are very inspiring that includes teachings from the great yoga texts such as Patanjali yoga sutras, bhagavadgita as well as other important Vedic texts that give students a clear vision to reach their destinations in life.
Yogi Naveen Ji
Yogi Naveen Ji is one of the most talented Asana teachers. He is a very experienced, as well as a knowledgeable teacher. Students love his teaching style because he is very inspiring & motivative. Naveen Ji won a Gold Medalist in Yoga Championship. He is a yoga alliance certified and he holds a masters in yoga sciences.
Yogi Praveen Ji
Yogini Praveen Ji is a very experienced teacher of meditation. Her teaching is very natural that comes directly from her heart and it helps students to see their true blissful nature. Praveen Ji has learned about yogic teaching from many great masters and she is also a certified healing teacher. So, this is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn yogic teachings under Praveen Ji.
Yogi Harminder Ji
Yogi Harminder Ji teaches yoga therapy and anatomy for two years in India and around the world. He is a certified yoga therapy and yoga anatomy teacher as well as a master of yoga sciences. The ashram is located in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains, near-by banks of river Ganges, walk of 5 minutes from the auto stand to Vinyasa Yoga Ashram in upper Tapovan, near deacon valley, Lakshman jhula, Rishikesh.

Repas

Vinyasa Yoga Ashram is very particular about food and serve only hygienically prepared nutritious and healthy food. The food is served thrice a day with changed menu. They pays special emphasis over yogi food for all the students. Food provided at the center is 100% vegetarian but not vegan. It can be arranged for other food types if you inform the chef about it well in advance.

Vinyasa Yoga Ashram serve 3 vegetarian meals per day (and a cup of chai during the tea breaks) for the duration of the course. The meals are unlimited. Generally, you’ll get a plate of food with all of the various vegetarian Indian dishes appropriate for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (according to a yogic diet.) Vinyasa Yoga Ashram always make a surplus of food for our students, which is usually placed on the dinner tables for their students to grab from if they want more of a particular dish. You can also always feel free to talk to the kitchen staff if you’d like your meals prepared a certain way or if you’d like extra food.
