    The institute

The Vedansha Institute of Vedic Science and Alternative Medicine was founded by Yogachariya Dr. Sanjeev Pandey Ji. It was established to provide education in Vedic science, provide holistic treatment and support programs with yogic and Ayurvedic methods in common and non-curative diseases, and help humans control emotions, remove fears, improve their lives, find themselves in a society of modern technology, and open their power in order to feel harmony and happiness.

The institute keeps the ancient yogic tradition of Himalayan masters adapted to contemporary service requirements according to international standards of yoga education. Its teachers were born in yogic families and have scientific degrees in yoga, astrology, and Ayurveda. Its yoga masters have spent more than 90,000 hours on improving their practice of yoga postures and meditation.

Its founder, Dr. Sanjeev Pandey, has spent more than 20,000 hours in deep meditation in the Himalayan mountains. The institute has trained more than 10,000 yoga teachers from USA, Canada, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Australia, Mexico, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Greece, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, and Peru.

It also guides its clients after courses are completed by giving regular workshops and online webinars for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels in yoga, Vedic astrology, meditation, and Ayurveda. Because of this, clients keep on returning to the institute and its partners. Vedansha collaborates with medical doctors and performs research in yoga and cancer in Germany. It also performs special healing programs for people with different diseases to support their health.

There are no unsolved problems for the institute, only new questions to be answered. Vedansha aims to develop an authentic Himalayan yoga tradition worldwide. The quality of its yoga programs is guaranteed. These programs are proven safe by European medical doctors, and can be easily performed by clients with varying levels of physical ability.

Each program was made by Dr. Sanjeev who is a seventh generation hereditary yogi, and is oriented on beginner, intermediate, and advanced yogic levels. Vedansha has certified, healthy yoga products, and is considered as one of the best in Himalaya as proven by its certification from the International Yoga Alliance (USA) and Alternative Medical Council Calcutta (India).

Its programs are based on centuries-old traditions and adapted to contemporary conditions that makes its clients 99% satisfied. You will get a full-service package with meetings, accommodation, three daily vegetarian meals and beverages, check-up of body problems, individual, naturopathic consultation, classes, special events, workshops, Ayurveda procedures, and excursions.

Vedansha starts to work with its clients even before their visit by providing a short check-up of their natal map and recognizing concerns. A program is then created for clients according to the information they provide regarding goals and opportunities for corrections during the visit. By using methods of yoga, Ayurveda, and Vedic astrology, the center creates special yoga classes with healthy nourishment, herbs, and spices, reaching purification and balance of the body and soul.

The institute takes responsibility for its students and patients. If you come as a student to get knowledge, Vedansha will not only propose to you the exact number of hours and classes, but also consider your understanding of the difficulties in Vedic material and obstacles in your own practice. The center is sure that there are no untalented students.

Because of special, organized programs with attention to practical exercises, Vedansha's students are confident, able to teach without fear, and can represent Vedic science in their countries. The institute will support you in your teaching career, and will always be glad to help you with advice or sharing of professional skills.

The aim of this meditation practice is to encourage a deep state of concentration, that can be reached by everyone at a different pace, from 7 days even up to several years. It depends on the student's possibility of concentration, brain activity, dominance of nervous system, desire to reach the goal and fear of obstacles. If you have any troubles related to the things mentioned, please let us know and we will help to you go forward and overcome the troubles. Every student is different and sometimes it requires more time and effort, we are ready to offer our help anytime.

If you decided to get supportive treatment, Vedansha will do its best to provide you with high-quality procedures in diagnostic therapy in India. And because of its international connections, the institute will try to help with organizing any succeeding treatment in your country.

    The course

The Vedansha Insitute of Vedic Sciences and Alternative Medicine is accredited by the International Yoga Alliance (USA) and Alternative Medical Council Colcatta. This program will provide a 500-hour teacher training of education in yoga for people who already have a 300-hour Yoga Alliance Certificate or a similar certificate proving their experience in yoga.

This 500-hour teacher training is a part of a basic educational level of therapy yoga training. It is possible to follow this education separately or as a continuation of a 300-hour teacher training course. Please send an inquiry to the Vedansha Institute of Vedic Science and Alternative Medicine for detailed information if you want to achieve a certificate as a yoga therapist.

Please note that the yoga atmosphere and classes can be different from that what you learned or saw in your home country. We teach not only Asana, we also give knowledge of yoga as a Vedic science (pranayama, meditationa, mantra, ayurveda, astrology, sadhana, yajna, yoga philosophy, yoga therapy). Our teachers are not fitness instructors, most of them are spiritual yoga masters who have have a completely different way of life and devotion to their practice. Some of them are monks , pandits in temples or swamis. We request you to please be polite and respect their work. If you find something that not suitable for you or for your faith or mentality, please do not put the blame on them. Let us know on the front desk, on-line or just discuss with Founder Dr Pandey Ji directly if you want any changes and what you find not suitable for you. In 99 % misunderstanding will be solved by the good way.

During 10 weeks, you will master your knowledge in Hatha and Ashtanga yoga styles and their respective asanas, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, mantra, yoga anatomy, yoga therapy, yogic nutrition, Ayurveda, naturopathy, astrology, teaching methodology and psychology, and get information about your aura problems regarding a Chakra imbalance as well as get suggestions of special Vedic practices and herbs.

This course will also include special events such as a mantra concert performed by students of the teacher training with the help of teachers and staff once per week. Every two weeks, there will be a yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, and other Vedic sciences activities along with a silent meditation walk and a cooking workshop for Ayurvedic, yogic, Indian, and international cuisine.
