During this training, you will stay in a shared, private or double room at the Kriya Ashram or at the Vedansha Retreat Center. The rooms offer hot water, a clean toilet, warm conditions during cold seasons, and security in the area. Rooms have fan and good ventilated. For the summer season, you may opt for an air-conditioned room, offered upon availability, at an additional charge of 8 USD per night.

If you would like to stay in a single or double hotel room, Vedansha Institute of Vedic Science and Alternative Medicine offers you a private accommodation, with air-conditioning, either in a deluxe room or an apartment, for an additional cost. Please send an inquiry and the institute will be pleased to offer you a quotation, for the hotel accommodation option.

Please note that sometimes the power goes off in the whole Rishikesh. During these moments, you will have light in your rooms, but the Internet may stop working for a while. In such cases, you should not worry, as it usually comes back in a few minutes. Otherwise, please ask Vedansha Institute's manager to assist you and provide the internet stick.

The Vedansha Insitute of Vedic sciences and alternative medicine is accredited by the International Yoga Alliance (USA) and the Alternative Medical Council Colcatta and provides a 200-hour training of education in pranayama or breathing techniques for primary skills for person who wants to get their first experience or deepen their knowledge.

About the Vedansha Institute of Vedic Science and Alternative Medicine

The institute offers high qualified certified teachers and provide authentic knowledge of yogic tradition. The institute is accredited by the Yoga Alliance and the Alternative Medical Council Colcutta and contains basic principles of ancient yogic tradition and self-experience of the teachers following international standard of Vedic science.

All the teachers have long experience of practice and continuously improve their qualification by practice it by Himalayan masters, monks, or universities, and they are motivated to develop in their own practice in order to guide you to success in your practice.

The aim of this meditation practice is to encourage a deep state of concentration, that can be reached by everyone at a different pace, from 7 days even up to several years. It depends on the student's possibility of concentration, brain activity, dominance of nervous system, desire to reach the goal and fear of obstacles. If you have any troubles related to the things mentioned, please let us know and we will help to you go forward and overcome the troubles. Every student is different and sometimes it requires more time and effort, we are ready to offer our help anytime.

Please note that the yoga atmosphere and classes can be different from that what you learned or saw in your home country. We teach not only Asana, we also give knowledge of yoga as a Vedic science (pranayama, meditationa, mantra, ayurveda, astrology, sadhana, yajna, yoga philosophy, yoga therapy). Our teachers are not fitness instructors, most of them are spiritual yoga masters who have have a completely different way of life and devotion to their practice. Some of them are monks , pandits in temples or swamis. We request you to please be polite and respect their work. If you find something that not suitable for you or for your faith or mentality, please do not put the blame on them. Let us know on the front desk, on-line or just discuss with Founder Dr Pandey Ji directly if you want any changes and what you find not suitable for you. In 99 % misunderstanding will be solved by the good way.

The study materials were created according to international study requirements in Vedic science and adapted for easily understanding for every student. The institute uses special technical, visual, written materials to make classes diverse and study process effective with desired results.

The institute offers special developed yogic classes according to scientific and practical experience of the team based on purification, Ayurvedic principles of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha types of personality with their disturbances of energy body and special methods of asana, pranayama, meditation technics that help to correct disturbances of the body and reach desired effect of yogic practice.

Please note that the Satsang is available for up to 10 people and the timetable is subject to change, during the teaching process.

During the course, you will enjoy two excursions and be able to visit a spiritual temple near Rishikesh, where you will practice pranayama and meditation techniques, in a cave, under the guidance of an experienced teacher.

  • Sanjeev Pandey

    Yogachariya Dr. Sanjeev Pandey Ji is the founder of the Vedansha Institute of Vedic Science and Alternative Medicine. He has a PhD in Yogatherapy and Naturopathy, and he is a Himalayan yogi from the seventh generation. He has kept the family and university tradition of yoga during his teaching and personal practice. Since January 2017, he provides education and supplementary treatment according to the high level of ancient and modern standard of Vedic science at his own Institute to share yoga knowledge.

  • Rahul Singh

    Yoga Alliance RYT 500 (Hatha Yoga, Bhakti Yoga)

    Rahul Singh, known as yogi Raj, was born in 1986 in Meerut City and graduated from school there. At the age of 16, he went to a monastery, where he lived for five years. While there, he learned the philosophy of yoga, asana, and pranayama from his holiness guru Ji Swami Karshni Guru Sharnanand Ji at his Udaseen Karshni Ashram, the Raman Reti Ashram. At the monastery, he also learned Bhakti yoga, mantra chanting, and ancient meditation techniques through traditional Hatha yoga practice.

  • Natalia Vdovichenko

    Dr. Natalia Vdovichenko was born in physicians family in Kazakhstan. After graduating from Lyceum in Chelyabinsk, Russia, she decided to follow the footsteps of her parents and be a physician. In 2008, she graduated from Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy and continued her education in gynecology and obstetrics specialty. In 2015, she decided to participate in a yoga teacher training in Rishikesh where she met dr. Pandey Ji. and developed her meditation and pranayama techniques.

  • Ashish Rawat

    (Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga)

    Ashish is a yoga master with a uniqueness that attracts the learners with his dynamic teaching style. He was born in Vedic family and is a certified yoga teacher that has been teaching during six years. In this period of time, he had shown exceptional qualities of a yoga teacher in Hatha and Ashtanga style. He undertook the yogic training from the international school of yoga, Ved Niketan Dham in Rishikesh and gained the master degree in yogic sciences from the Sanskrit University in Uttarakhand.

  • Awdhesh Semwal

    Awdhesh is an asana teacher for Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. He was born in Rishikesh, the capital of yoga. His yogic practice started from 2011 after he met various yoga masters who inspired him and encouraged him to come to yoga path. He began to study in Uttarakhand Sanskrit University yoga philosophy and started his own practice as well. He obtained positiveness, peace in mind, and physical heath. Awdesh Semwal completed his diploma in yoga and other degrees in 2014.

  • Usha Vaishnava

    Having studied Ayurveda and herbal medicine at Kanpur in the Kanpur University in 1966, Dr. Usha completed her internationally recognized bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in 1997. Her competence is evident in her extensive and varied experience during the past 20 years, having shared her expertise as a lecturer of Kaya Chikitsa at Himalaya Ayurvedic College (Bareilly, U.P.), as a trainee physician in Arya Vaidya Sala (Kottakkal, Kerala), and Panchkarma specialist.

  • Jyotish Acharya

    Pandit Shiva Ji or Jyotish Acharya is a famous traditional Vedic astrologer in Rishikesh. He is well qualified in astrology and Vedic science, he completed his Jyotish Acharya (master degree in astrological science) and Ved Acharya (master degree in Vedic science and Vastu Shastra) from Sampoorna Nanda Sanskrit University, Kashi (Varanasi), India. He worked with great Himalayan Astro Masters and he lives and teaches in Rishikesh, sharing his knowledge of Vedanta, astrology, and Vedic karma kand.

  • Maksim Vdovichenko

    Dr. Vdovichenko was born in Kazakhstan. He graduated from the Chelyabinsk Medical Academy in Russia and began his work as a general surgeon. Then, he decided to continue his career in Germany and has worked since 2014 as a vascular surgeon in Thüringen. In order to complete his specialization in emergency medicine, he now works as an anesthesiologist. Dr. Vdovichenko is responsible for the programs that include human anatomy, physiology, and yoga therapy in the Vedansha Institute.

  • Loseva Galina

    (Kundalini Yoga)

    Dr. Loseva Galina was born in Kazakhstan. She is a physician and a specialist in radiology medicine. Over the last 30 years, she has been practicing in Russia and Kazakhstan. Dr. Loseva is interested in alternative medicine and began to learn bioresonance medicine according to the method of Dr. Puchko in 2011. In 2015, she started to practice yoga and did a yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, where she met Dr. Pandey Ji and experienced a different way of Kundalini yoga and an awakening of deep concentration.

This training will take place at the Kriya Ashram in Rishikesh, India.
