During this training, you will be staying in a retreat center provided by TK Yoga Retreat. The accommodation is shared and on-site and there will never more than two sharing per room.


This yoga teacher training diploma has been comprehensively designed with a multi-faceted approach to yoga, incorporating Hatha yoga, flow, Kundalini yoga, Yin yoga, breathwork, meditation, mindfulness and relaxation, together with lesson planning. You can expect to learn a diverse approach to wellbeing with good yogic ethics regarding the foundation postures, asanas, mudras, and ahimsa.

You will be expected to be pro-active and take a hands-on inclusive approach to teaching. Showing a willingness to take the class will be an essential part of the training during your stay of intense learning, which then will enable you to teach with confidence and integrity. TK Yoga understands the trust that their students have in them as an accredited and approved training academy. In return, TK Yoga offers ongoing support for graduated students in their new journey onward.

Day 1

  • 10:00-13:30

You will learn the origins of yoga, the philosophy of yoga, the eight limbs of yoga, the Eastern practice, and the different disciplines of yoga.

Day 2

  • 10:00-13:30

You will learn the process of creating a space for practice, how to understand the personal practice, yogic practice and application, how to maintain vision and discipline, the key purpose of living as a yogic, and personal plan for the betterment.

Day 3

  • 10:00-13:30

You will learn breathing techniques, why correct yogic breathing is vital in practice, how to understand what occurs during breathing, and key benefits of correct breathing.

  • 15:00-16:30

You will learn about breath, relaxation, and mindful breathing.

Day 4

  • 10:00-13:30

You will learn the importance of relaxation, how to use breathing techniques to aid rest and improve sleep, meditation and the benefits of regular practice, and how to incorporate relaxation and meditation into your practice.

Day 5

  • 15:00-16:30

You will learn how to discover postures for relaxation and meditation.

Day 8

  • 10:00-13:30

You will learn how to understand the meaning of human anatomy, the skeleton, and joints of the skeleton.

Day 9

  • 10:00-13:30

You will learn the naming of the skeletal bones, the functions of the skeleton, and how to keep your skeletal bones healthy.

Day 10

  • 10:00-13:30

You will learn the skeletal muscles, muscles and their functions, muscles and movement during practice, the origin, insertions, and function of major muscles.

Day 11

  • 10:00-13:30

You will learn the human anatomy and the internal systems of the body.

Day 12

  • 10:00-13:30

You will learn the psychology of exercise, external pressures, how to understand the mind, and mindfulness.

Day 15

  • 10:00-13:30

You will learn about the belief system, power of positivity, suggestion, and have a questionnaire session.

Day 16

  • 10:00-13:30 Warming up and the foundation postures

Day 17

  • 10:00-13:30 Positions and alignments and salutations
  • 15:00-16:30 Flexibility and supported postures

Day 18

  • 10:00-13:30 Yoga postures, movement, and flow

Day 19

  • 10:00-13:30 Building core strength

Day 20

  • 10:00-13:30 Asana flow, English posture names, and Sanskrit posture names

The retreat center is situated just outside of Saint Gervais sur Mare in the beautiful Languedoc area of South / West France. The location is set peacefully in an area of outstanding natural beauty and situated in the mountains. There are beautiful walks close by to enjoy during free time, horse riding, and delightful villages within walking distance.

Comment se rendre sur place ?

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Béziers Cap d'Agde Airport (BZR). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request for 40 EUR each way (50 minutes from the retreat center).

Please note that flight arrivals to and from Carcassonne Airport (CCF) are serviced by the Navette bus which takes you to the train station for transfer onward to Beziers train station, we can then arrange transfer to TK Centre. Arrival at Montpellier–Méditerranée Airport (MPL) is also serviced by the Navette bus which takes you to the bus station, from the bus station you can take a bus to Bedarieux (about 3 euros) We can collect you from Bedarieux free of charge.

TK Yoga has found the best airlines to be either Ryanair or EasyJet.
