    Tom Cronin spent 26 years as a broker in finance trading inflation swaps and bonds for the banks. After suffering a lot of stress in his job, he turned to meditation to help manage the symptoms. He recently walked away from the industry at the height of his successful career to fulfill his mission of spreading calm and stillness across the globe. The portal to access stillness is meditation. Tom has been teaching meditation for many years now and has inspired thousands of people all over the world as a teacher, author, and keynote speaker to unlock their brilliance and calm with meditation.

    Fiorella Kis-Major's mission is to inspire you all to truly fill up your own cup, so you can operate from a stronger and calmer place. Her vision for everyone is to view self-care as a necessity, rather than a luxury. When you don't take time for yourselves, your soul's pulse weakens, and perhaps even comes to a complete standstill. Driving directions from Coolangatta Airport, Gold Coast

  • Turn right out of Gold Coast Airport onto the main road at the traffic lights, this is the Gold Coast highway or national route one.
  • Travel about two kilometers and follow the signs to the Pacific Motorway (M1) on ramp. You want to head south, and for the moment follow the signs to Ballina.
  • Continue on Pacific Motorway (M1) for 12 kilometers and take the left-hand turn off for Tweed Valley way (Tourist Drive 40) and head towards Murwillumbah.
  • Keep following the signs to Murwillumbah, turn right at the roundabout, and go over the bridge, and cross the Tweed River. Head through Murwillumbah shops and through two more roundabouts, then take the second left into Riverview Street. There is a big green sign to Uki.
  • Follow this road which turns into Uki road for 10 kilometers, you will pass the turn off to Mount Warning via Mt Warning road, keep going on that path. On the left, you will pass Glenock Roadd, followed by Braeside Drive.
  • You need to take the left turn into Braeside Drive. Once on Braeside, take the second right to Bonnydoon Road.
  • Go all the way to the end of Bonnydoon, and at the top of the cul-de-sac. There is a driveway with a small sign that has Gymea Eco Retreat and Spa, 128 on it.
  • Take the right fork of the driveway, the drive-way is quite steep, so take it slow and use low gear or first please.
  • You will pass a dam on your left, and then take a left into the marked “car park” area. Please park there and follow the signs to reception.

Driving directions from Byron Bay

  • Head out of Byron Bay via Jonson Street, Byron Street, and Ewingsdale road, all the way to the Pacific Highway route 1 north.
  • Travel on the Pacific Highway (M1) North, for 17 kilometers until you get to to the Tweed Valley way or tourist drive 40 exit - just after the Billinudgel turn-off.
  • Take the Tweed Valley Way or Tourist Drive 40 exit, from the freeway. Continue through the roundabout and then take a left hand turn at the T - intersection to stay on Tweed Valley way. You will now be heading north toward Murwillumbah. Continue driving for 12 kilometers.
  • After 12 kilometers, turn left onto Stokers Road or Nolands Road. You will see a large sign that says “Stokers Siding”.
  • Continue onto Stokers Road for 2 kilometers till you get to the railway crossing on your left.
  • Turn left onto Smiths Creek Road. This is a twisty road, continue for 10 kilometer till you get to the end of T - intersection.
  • Turn right onto Kyogle Road (the T - intersection) towards Murwillumbah.
  • You need to take the second right turn into Braeside drive. Once on Braeside Drive, please take the second right to Bonnydoon road.
  • Go all the way to the end of Bonnydoon, and at the top of the cul-de-sac. There is a driveway with a small sign that has Gymea Eco Retreat and Spa, 128 on it.

Driving directions from Brisbane

  • Take the Pacific Highway (M1) South for about 100 kilometers, past Gold Coast, entering into New South Wales. You are heading south towards Byron Bay and Ballina.
  • After crossing into New South Wales, continue on (M1) for 12 kilometers. Take the left hand turn off from M1 for Tweed Valley Way or Tourist Drive 40, and head towards Murwillumbah.
  • Keep following the signs to Murwillumbah, turn right at the roundabout and go over the bridge, and cross the Tweed River. Head through Murwillumbah shops and through two more roundabouts, then take the second left into Riverview Street. There is a big green sign to Uki.

Driving directions from Kyogle

  • From Kyogle, head north out of town on Summerland Way or B91. When you get to the Caltex Station, take a right into Kyogle Road and follow the signs to Murwillumbah or Uki.
  • Once you pass through Uki which is approx 50 kilometer on Kyogle Road.
  • Turn into Braeside Drive, Bonnydoon Road is the second street on your right.
  • The property is all the way to at the end of Bonnydoon Road, at the top of the cul-de-sac. You will pass signs to the Castle on the Hill on your right hand side.
  • Drive directly at the end of Bonnydoon, there is a driveway with a small sign that has Gymea Eco Retreat and Spa, 128 on it.
  • Take the rihgt fork of the drive-way. It’s quite a steep drive, so please take it slow, and use low gear.
  • The car park for the retreat is on your left after you pass the dam which about 300 meters.
  • Park in the car park and follow the signs to the reception.

Driving directions from South of Byron Bay

  • Take the Pacific Highway (M1) North, once you pass the Ewingsdale Road turn-off for Byron Bay.
  • You need to travel another 17 kilometers to the Tweed Valley Way or Tourist Drive 40 exit.
  • Take the Tweed Valley Way or Tourist Drive 40 exit, from the freeway. Continue through the roundabout and then take a left hand turn at the T - intersection to stay on Tweed Valley Way.
  • You will now be heading north toward Murwillumbah. Keep driving for 12 kilometers.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Gold Coast Airport (OOL). There are three main options to consider when traveling from Gold Coast or Coolangatta Airport, Gold Coast to the retreat center including:

  • Car
  • Public transport
  • Transfers and taxis

Arrival by bus

To travel by public transport from the Gold Coast or Coolangatta Airport to the retreat center, you are going to need to take two buses to get to Murwillumbah and then a taxi or cab from there to the retreat center. You will need to take bus No. 761 from Gold Coast Airport to Tweed Heads (Centro) - this is a short 4.5 kilometers or 12 minutes trip. See bus no. 761 timetable for schedule.

At Tweed Heads (Centro), you need to change buses and take bus no. 605 to Murwillumbah (Sunnyside Mall) - this is a 31 kilometers or 45 minutes trip. See bus no. 605 timetable for schedule.

From Murwillumbah (Sunnyside Mall), you will need to take a cab or taxi out to Gymea Eco Retreat and Spa, 128 Bonnydoon Road, Uki - this is a 14 kilometers or 14 minutes trip out to Gymea. There should be a taxi on the rank.
