Join Abby Kraai and Rachel Stern in Yelapa, Mexico, for a week of yoga, rejuvenation, delicious food, and fun! We will enjoy rustic jungle accommodations at Los Naranjos retreat center, complete with a private waterfall and natural pool, accommodating chefs, and options for guided outdoor excursions.
Each morning will include an energizing, all levels yoga practice. Each afternoon will be free to relax, hike, lounge on the beach, or explore. Some evenings, we will lead a deeply restorative practice to lull you into a peaceful slumber. Other evenings, we will offer an invigorating Vinyasa workshop, followed by social activities. There will also be time dedicated to writing, partner yoga, playful practice, karaoke, and lots and lots of (did we say this already??) fun!!

Rustic, beautiful, shared spaces!
Several days of the retreat will have a modified schedule when we will offer the option to go on a full day or half day exploration like whale watching, town walking, or kayaking!
Abby received her RYT-200 from Yoga Tree in San Francisco and has studied a rich blend of styles including Iyengar, Vinyasa, Hatha, Meditation, Kids, and Athletes yoga. Through a balance of Vinyasa, Restorative, and meditation practices, she built a stronger connection between her breath, body, and mind - this connection followed her out of the studio and onto the Frisbee field, the race course, and into her daily life. In every class that she teaches, Abby hopes to inspire her students to appreciate their bodies, stretch their limits, and never to take themselves too seriously.
She received her 200-hour teacher certification in Interdisciplinary Yoga from the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, and completed a year long teaching apprenticeship yoga at Amrita, in Portland, Oregon. Rachel believes that yoga is an inquiry into the body, encouraging students to experiment with movement and breath to unlock the inner wisdom of the body and spirit. Rachel encourages students to challenge themselves while being mindful and respectful of their personal limitations. Her classes blend clear alignment with joyous fun, and will invite you to take your yoga practice off the mat.
