TAYSP offers the ideal program for experienced practitioners and beginners who wish to deepen their practice or start the yoga journey. The course is organized in a way where participants discover a lot of new information and develop useful skills to cover different aspects of yoga practice. The schedules of daily classes, healthy food, comfortable accommodation, and friendly atmosphere create perfect conditions for the student to progress quickly and develop an enjoyable personal practice.
TAYSP accommodates their guests in a fully equipped house with a comfortable single or double occupancy rooms at Land and House Park close to the Yoga Shala. It's a big private and quiet area in a serene lush tropical setting near the lake.
For the convenience of the guests we provide bicycles to move around the park. The allocation of the houses depends on availability on the moment of booking.
During this retreat, you will study the main aspects and principles of Ashtanga yoga, implementing knowledge into practice. You will build a solid practice based on Vinyasa system, applying bandhas, drishti, and using ujayi breath. You will discover the foundation of each asana and its modifications, body alignment, therapeutic effect of asanas, and additional trainings for building the strength and flexibility to improve the practice.
You will take a journey to explore the inner and outer sequence of Ashtanga yoga primary series to make a daily asana practice a meditation experience. The retreat also includes training in pranayama practice. Students will be guided to practice a number of pranayama techniques consistently, taking time to deepen the understanding of this ancient practice and strengthening breath control.
During the retreat, you will learn kriya techniques (ancient purification exercises which help to purify the body and prepare yourself for pranayama and asana practice). Students will be provided with basic equipment for these cleansing practices.
This retreat would not be complete without focusing on mind work. Even the asana, pranayama, and kriya require a deep concentration, while students get additional experience and training in yoga Nidra and meditation. It will help to change the habitual patterns of the mind, essential for self-development and inner growth. Students will also be introduced to yoga philosophy and main ancient yoga texts, as it gives a strong theoretical foundation of the practice.

During the course healthy vegetarian food is provided. To experience the good effects of the yogic lifestyle, please do not bring meat from outside to eat. In a case if student has any allergy or intolerance to any kinds of food, please inform TAYSP so the diet will be adjusted accordingly.
