Shakti Yoga Peeth has rooms available to accommodate students who are coming from all over the world. Staying here means you will be getting an ashram-like environment, but a home away from home. You can either stay on the shared or single rooms, with each room having all the modern facilities. All the rooms are very beautiful, airy, and neat with windows that open to the wonderful surroundings.

In the morning, you will wake up to the chirping of the birds and sun rays that throw the mystical spell over the mountain peaks. Each room is attached to a bathroom, where there is a facility of hot and cold water.

    Arya's acquaintance with yoga happened at a very young age because of his father Sri Vivek’s influence and motivation. For 15 years, he has lived and followed the ashram life, but his hunger to learn yoga and philosophy took him to the Himalayas. The sages noticed his passion and zeal in him and taught him secret mysteries, which are still unknown to the people. He also gained knowledge in naturopathy, acupressure, pranic healing, and learned the philosophies of Buddhism, Jainism, Sufism, body anatomy, and physiology. He is currently doing Ph.D in yoga.

  • Yogi Ashish

    Ashish is a charming and dynamic yogi who teaches yoga with equal love and flavor as he himself does yoga. With an experience of six years, he demonstrates different aspects of classical asanas with great precision. He is based in Rishikesh, but often visits other parts of the country too to teach yoga to the enthusiasts. He is trained from international school of yoga Ved Niketan Dham in Rishikesh and got the master's degree in yogic sciences from Sanskrit University, Uttarakhand. He also enthusiastically takes part in many workshops and seminars not only in yoga, but also physical education.

    Yogi Pankaj teaches Hatha and Ashtanga yoga with great precision and as per his each student’s body composition. The way he incorporates the yoga philosophy lessons, breathing techniques, and meditation in his session is highly commendable. His background is religious and so spirituality is in his blood since his childhood. He has attained master's degree in yoga and had also undergone training under traditional yogis. He had also completed his 200-hour teacher training certification program. As a great inspirer and motivator, he is a perfect teacher with whom people would love to get trained.

    Tanushree is a yogini with immense knowledge and appetite for yoga. With seven years of experience in yoga, she can give students what all that is required to be a good yoga master and above all, a good yogi. She trains students in different forms of asanas, pranayama, meditation, and other yoga forms. She has a post-graduate degree in yoga from Sanskrit University Haridwar and master in yogic science. She has done a six-month certificated course from Ved Niketan Ashram and 200-hour teacher training course from Jeevmoksha Yoga Gurukul. Her teaching career started from ashrams in Rishikesh.

The school is located in Rishikesh, known as the yoga capital of the world, which nestled on the banks of the river Ganga. As soon you land up in Rishikesh, you will be enchanted by its beauty, sacredness, and sanctity. Rishikesh is well connected with the roadways, railways, and airways.

During this course, meals will be served three times a day. It will be the typical Indian healthy meals, prepared with the help of Indian spices. The meals are highly nutritious and sumptuous. An Ayurvedic chef will prepare the meals in accordance to the yogic diet.
