This 300-hour yoga teacher training course has been divided into eight efficient modules to ascertain the quality of yoga teachings.
Module 1: History of yoga therapy, concept and principles as well as characteristics of yoga therapy, meaning and basis of yoga therapy, and integrated approach of yoga therapy.
Module 2: Concept of health and disease, mechanism of disease according to yoga, development and reversal of disease according to body, mind, and soul approach.
Module 3: Physiology and effect of stress leading to psychosomatic ailments and how to use yoga as a therapeutic procedure for stress management.
Module 4: Body-mind-soul approach to understand cause and remedies of diseases according to yoga.
Module 5: Yoga for common psycho-somatic disorders such as neck pain and back pain, yoga for sciatica, yoga for diabetes, yoga for high blood pressure, yoga for asthma, yoga for IBS, yoga for pregnancy and constipation, pre-natal and post-natal yoga, and many other physical disorders and mental disturbances.
Module 6: Physiological basis of dynamic and static forms of yoga and concept of multi-style yoga such as Power yoga, Hot yoga, Flow yoga, Vinyasa Flow yoga, Hatha yoga and Hatha Vinyasa yoga, Sivananda yoga, Iyengar yoga, Ashtanga yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, Restorative yoga, pranayama and meditation, rope yoga and chair yoga as therapeutic procedures, as well as teaching methodologies.
Module 7: Concepts and principles of teaching methodologies and practical implementation of teaching methodologies.
Module 8: Basic knowledge of Ayurveda teachings and use Ayurveda as complimentary therapeutic procedure to diagnose and alleviate diseases.
