This retreat will take place in Tokyo, Hakone, Kawazu, Kyoto, and Osaka in Japan. Although Tokyo and Kyoto always come to mind first when we think of cherry blossoms, on Izu peninsula they can start flowering from the beginning of February but do so at an uncharacteristically slow pace compared to most other cherry tree varieties.
Consequently, visitors have a longer time frame (about a month) to enjoy their beautiful flowers. The best viewing time usually lasts for about two weeks around late February and early March, although this can vary quite a bit from year to year depending on the temperatures.
Daily breakfast is included, either Western or Japanese depending on the hotel. While in Kawazu and Kyoto, dinner will also be served.
Self-guided tours in Tokyo, Kyoto, Kawazu and Hakone.
Please book your flight to arrive at Narita International Airport (NRT) or at Tokyo International Airport (HND).
