    We have simple shared accommodations for those who would like to have a relaxing getaway. All rooms have shared baths in the hall.

    Yoga shala

    Join us in our natural wood yoga space, heated by a wood stove (but not in the summer), with amazing views of the grounds. Our main yoga studio, with its warm textures and many windows, feels right for any size group, accommodating up to 40 yogis on their unfurled mats, or over 100 cushions seated participants for a candle-lit kirtan.

    • Enjoy health-conscious meals prepared from fresh garden ingredients. We use organic produce grown in our own garden, as well as other local growers.

    The yoga of spiritual practice

    Sadhana yoga means yoga as a spiritual practice. We offer two variations of asana practice that are a blend of various traditions. The Vinyasa flow practice is derived mainly from Ashtanga yoga and is a fast-paced flow.

    The second is a Hatha practice derived from Sivananda tradition, which is more meditative with longer held poses. Both sequences together provide you with a great foundation to build any type of yoga class upon. After graduation, you will receive a 200-hour yoga teacher certificate, will be able to register with Yoga Alliance, and teach anywhere in the world.

    Course overview

    The course will cover chanting, meditation, pranayama, and asana, in addition to yogic philosophy, physical and energetic anatomy, ethics, and the business of yoga. Cleansing practices of kriyas will be incorporated throughout the program, including fasting and silence.

    Typical day

    We begin with chanting, breathing practices, and meditation, followed by asana class. You will then have a break for brunch and karma yoga. The afternoon will be composed of a light lunch, lectures, and teaching workshops. We share family style vegetarian dinner and end the day with satsang, our community gathering.

      School Yoga Institute Yoga Alliance RYT 500 (Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga)

      Brianne Nadi is a 500-hour RYT Yoga Alliance certified instructor in Hatha and Vinyasa flow through School Yoga Institute. She also has experience teaching Restorative, Prenatal, and Kids yoga. Nadi started practicing yoga in college out of general interest. She quickly found the wisdom and health benefits of yoga to be the backbone in all her adventures; both out into the world and deep into her heart. She has used yoga to heal injuries, body aches, heartaches, and anxiety. She has watched yoga increase her capacity for love, joy, ​and compassion in everyday life.

    • Stephen Bethel

      Stephen Bethel, affectionately known by many of his yoga comrades as Bethel, has been an avid yoga practitioner for many years. Establishing a daily meditation practice as a teenager, Bethel’s involvement with yoga blossomed into a lifestyle slowly over time. He became a Jivamukti yoga instructor in 2005. Since that time, he has assisted his mentors Sharon Gannon and David Life in training other teachers and now holds the title of advanced Jivamukti certification.

    • Robert Moses

      Robert served his guru Swami Vishnu-devananda for over 20 years, studying yoga and vedanta, administering ashrams and teaching Yoga Teachers Training Courses worldwide. He is co-publisher, with Eddie Stern, of Namarupa, Categories of Indian Thought, a journal on Indian philosophy. Robert continues to teach Yoga Teachers Training Courses in India and leads annual yatras (pilgrimages) to sacred places there. He also works as a freelance photographer and videographer. He lives with his family in Dublin, New Hampshire.

    Bethel Farm is a small yoga and living arts center in the woods of Hillsborough, New Hampshire. It is a unique place that offers a special opportunity to live close to nature, as you take rest from your everyday life and immerse yourself into the practice of yoga.
