If you are getting bored of your routine, it is time for you to get your holiday here in Panama with Panalive Tours! They offer many activities to make you forget all of your problems back at home. This is a high standard surf camp in some of the best waves in Panama. This camp is more dedicated to surfing but since yoga is one of the best complements of this sport, those two are put together to better prepare your body for the sea.
Hotel Playa Reina is located on the beach in front of Playa Reina on Mariato’s coastline in the Province of Veraguas, Panama along the western side of the Azuero Peninsula, often referred to as the “Sunset Coast". The fully equipped guest rooms and restaurant offer stunning views of the Pacific ocean and two of its most beautiful islands, Cébaco and Gobernadora.
Also nearby is Isla Coiba, a national marine park protected and declared by UNESCO as a world heritage site, which offers some of the worlds best scuba diving, snorkeling, and bird watching. The Mariato area is well known for the richness of its waters, beaches, and ocean. The hotel faces the islands where you can practice fishing, diving, snorkeling, surfing or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches.
After returning to the hotel from such exciting experiences, you will find further relaxation in your comfortable rooms equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-refrigerator, hot water shower, and hairdryer. Each room has a terrace with teak furniture surrounded by tropical plants and flowers.
Playa Reina offers a wide variety of waves for all levels of surfing and you will stay like the pros in a hotel with swimming pool. The surfing classes are made in several languages by experienced surfers and trainers. In one of the free afternoons, you will go by boat to enjoy a beautiful sandy beach located on an island in front of the hotel.
The staff is very experienced and can teach you surfing in the best fashion. The daily surfing lessons are complemented with yoga. Panalive Tours has several types of boards to find what better fits you. The Panalive staff is multilingual. The lessons are two hours daily in the morning. Playa Reina is perfect to learn surfing because it has many options around that can suit all levels of surfing, from beginners to advanced. After the classes, you can practice by yourself in the afternoon because the hotel includes the use of surfboards.
The yoga teachings are for beginners and they are based on 100 Hatha yoga poses at the hotel's swimming pool area. To be a good surfer, you must have your body trained, strong and flexible, your muscles prepared for hard paddling and balancing, and your mind clear and free from any stress. Nothing can help you better than yoga! It will help you not only to correct, improve your posture, and prevent any injury in the water but also increase your energy that you need in the ocean. To get body and soul relaxation that will help you to exclude your anxiety or tension on the board, a 40-minute massage will be booked at your convenience.
Playa Reina is located in the Province of Veraguas, southern coast on Mariato’s coastline along the western side of the Azuero Peninsula that holds the best surfing in Panama and many deserted beaches often referred to as the “Sunset Coast”. Thanks to the beautiful sunsets over the Pacific Ocean, it's very beautiful and still not very crowded or touristic, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Also, there are lots of rivers to explore. It's three kilometers away from Mariato, a typical Panamanian small village next to the sea.
The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The chef prepares wholesome meals using the most natural ingredients locally available. The “a-la-carte” menu is based mainly on local seafood and fresh fish sourced by local fishermen on a daily basis.
If your choice is to remain at the hotel, you can enjoy having a drink with some snacks or playing ping-pong with your friends, and afterward relaxing on the beach watching the surfers catch the waves or watching the sunset over the horizon.
