During this retreat, you will stay at Nagarjun Forest Yoga Retreat Center. Students and guests travelling from abroad will be provided with a safe and secure accommodation facility. The retreat center provides a jungle and family environment which is also a perfect living space away from home. The retreat lies on the lap of the Nagarjun foot hills where you will be provided with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.

It has a beautiful garden full of green grass, flowers, and hammocks. The entrance is covered by a curve of trees surrounding the jungle. The retreat has yoga and meditation halls. One is in a terrace with the capacity of 20 people. This gives you a breathtaking view of the village, the hills beyond, and the Himalayas. The other is inside the garden, surrounded by the trees, and has a capacity of 50 people.

The center has a vegetarian restaurant as well as a well-equipped wooden dining hall in the terrace where 100 people can adjust at once. It has a wonderful lit view of Kathmandu at night. It has three tent houses with bathrooms outside and 16 deluxe rooms which consists of attached bathrooms equipped with hot and cold showers.

The rooms are with single and double beds where Western-style attached private showers and toilets, ceiling fans, and a couple of chairs are available. All the 16 guest rooms, with its individual verandas, are facing towards the east. Each and every room gets sunlight early in the morning.

The private single room comes with a balcony and private bath, perfect for that self-pampering retreat. The double rooms also have balconies for you to hang out. These rooms have two beds, one king size and one one single bed.

During this retreat, Nepal Yoga and Meditation Center's naturopathy doctor, massage specialist, and yoga teacher has designed Trekkers Relaxation and Yoga Retreat package to keep you mentally and physically fit before you go or after you have done Himalayan trekking. Professor Karki and his naturopath physician, a highly experienced yoga guru will guide you for the improvement of your health and well-being.

    He is the founder of Institute of Natural Medicine and Nepal Meditation Center. He has already spent his 40 years in yoga and naturopathy. Doctor Karki is the ancestor in this field. He is a single man who is still devoting his life for growth of yoga, massage, and naturopathy. Until now, he is struggling for the own council of yoga and naturopathy. This retreat will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal. Nepal Yoga and Meditation Center's second branch named Nagarjun Forest Yoga Retreat is a brand new health retreat center situated on the foothills of a dense forest.

The purpose of opening a retreat center nearby the forest is to provide greenery, and a peaceful and tranquil environment so it could be the perfect place to revitalize your body, mind, and soul. This center is set up next to the Nagarjun National Park and is only a few 50 meters away from the jungle. Nagarjun Forest Yoga Retreat and Resort lies in nature on the foothills of Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park which is the ninth national park in Nepal.

The national park is situated in the closed hill site of Kathmandu Valley exposed in a natural spot. This peaceful preserve feels far from the city, though it is only about four kilometers far from the tourism hub Thamel. Shivapuri National Park, also known as Queen’s Forest is the home of deer, leopards, red pandas, monkeys, and so on. The jungle is also recorded to have 318 bird species.

Nagarjun Forest Yoga Retreat and Resort, situated in the countryside, is the sister branch of the Institute of Natural Medicine. It is an ashram where guests and students rejuvenate their body mind and soul by attending spiritual and yoga retreat programs, and training courses. Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). Transfer from the airport is included. Nepal Yoga and Mediation Center will pick you up from the airport. There are many domestic flights travelling to Kathmandu. Most tourist spots and cities are connected by either highway or airport.

Arrival by bus

There are eleven entry points from the Indian Border by bus. Similarly, visitors can enter from China as well. Ask your local travel agent for more details.

The entry points are also available for you to arrive at Nepal's railway stations, coming from the Indian Border and China.
