Vous serez logé dans un petit hôtel, situé en haut d’une colline au-dessus du lac de Pokhara. C’est la partie de la ville la plus proche du lac Phewa, où se trouve tous les cafés, boutiques et restaurants. Le resort est assez proche de la ville pour vous permettre de profiter de sa vie trépidante, mais assez loin pour être protégé contre le bruit, la poussière et les foules. Il y a une piscine, que vous pouvez utiliser à n’importe quel moment de la journée, autant que vous le souhaitez.

Il y a également un grand jardin luxuriant entourant le complexe avec des arbres fruitiers, des palmiers, des plants de café, des fleurs. Les chambres sont très confortables et élégantes, offrent beaucoup d’intimité, car elles ont toutes leur propre porche séparé avec un coin salon et un hamac. Toutes les chambres disposent de l’électricité 24/24h et d’une salle de bain avec l’eau chaude.

Les matinées sont réservées à votre pratique, qui durera environ 2 heures. Vous commencerez tôt, et après la classe, vous dégusterez un brunch fraîchement préparé. L’après-midi offre un éventail de possibilités. Vous êtes toujours libre de vous la couler douce, de nager, de vous reposer au bord de la piscine, de jouer au badminton, d’utiliser le trampoline ou de vous rafraichir dans un hamac. Si vous avez envie de découvrir la région, My Yogic Adventure propose plusieurs randonnées pour visiter les temples, les villages et profiter de la vue sur le lac et l’Himalaya.

Pour les vrais aventuriers, une session de parapente en tandem peut être organisée dans l’un des plus beaux sites de parapente du monde. Le soir, vous participerez à un cours plus court, qui dure environ une heure avant le dîner vers 19:00. Après le dîner, il y a un temps libre pour tout le monde. Toutes les activités et les cours sont facultatifs.

Yoga et méditation

Vous pratiquerez le yoga deux fois par jour sur les toits, avec une vue magnifique sur les champs environnants et le lac. Marija enseigne le hatha yoga traditionnel, avec beaucoup d’emphase sur l’alignement, le souffle et la concentration. En dehors des asanas (postures), vous pratiquerez le pranayama (respiration yogique), ainsi que la méditation lors de chaque cours.

Les cours sont organisés sous forme d’ateliers, et vous découvrirez différents aspects physiques, mentaux et spirituels de la pratique. Ce stage est adapté à tous les niveaux. Les débutants auront la chance de découvrir le yoga et de bâtir une fondation solide pour leur voyage yogique. Les yogis expérimentés vont approfondir leurs connaissances et trouver l’inspiration pour parfaire leur pratique.

Lors de ce programme, vous aurez la chance de faire de la randonnée à Sarangkot, le meilleur endroit pour voir le lever du soleil le plus spectaculaire.

  • Marija Drezgic

    Marija enseigne le hatha yoga, combiné avec des éléments de yoga vinyasa flow et d'exploration du libre mouvement. Elle met l'emphase sur l'alignement, la respiration et la concentration. Son but est d'aider ses étudiants à mieux comprendre leur corps et ses mouvements pour qu'ils puissent développer leur propre pratique sécuritaire et durable. La méditation constitue une partie essentielle de ses cours. Elle invite chaque étudiant à suivre les cours avec un esprit joyeux et à ne pas se prendre trop au sérieux, jouant avec leurs muscles, leur étirement et leurs pensées.

Le centre de retraite est situé sur une colline au-dessus du lac de Pokhara, offrant une vue magnifique sur le lac Phewa. C’est assez loin pour ne jamais être dérangé par le bruit ou les foules, mais suffisamment proche pour explorer les restaurants, cafés, boutiques et la culture locale.

Pokhara est la ville la plus charmante du Népal. Elle est très proche de la chaîne himalayenne Annapurna, donc les cimes enneigées semblent à portée de main. La ville est située à côté du lac Phewa et offre une combinaison parfaite pour les touristes, avec des sites à visiter et de nombreuses activités, des cafés, des restaurants, des bars, du parapente et des endroits calmes dans la nature.

Le brunch et le dîner sont inclus dans le prix de la retraite. Si vous avez faim en attendant, vous pouvez toujours commander quelque chose dans un restaurant pour un coût supplémentaire. Toute la nourriture est toujours fraîchement préparée. La plupart des ingrédients proviennent du jardin du centre de retraite, où des légumes bios sont cultivés. Ils ont même leurs propres rizière biologique. Les repas servis lors de la retraite seront un mélange de cuisine traditionnelle népalaise et continentale.     Strongly Recommended!

    CONS Je n'ai pas aimé: There was nothing - and even if there had been - it would have been labelled and thrown away!

    PROS J'ai aimé: Marija is a great person and teacher - the yoga was about the right pace and the meditation which was a newer element for me was v well conducted. Ena and Venesa were tremendous. Milos produced excellent natural meals every time - and gave me a sandwich for my trip back to Belgrade! Was concerned - as am mostly a fish consumer (am 1/2 walrus!) - food situation might be a bit...well...militant vegan or vege - but the vegetarian meals were without exception top class. The star of the show are your surrounds in SW Serbia - pictures and words would not do it justice. Spectacular. You will be doing your practice at a number of different, unique locations - on a plain with a view of 3 countries - or in a clearing up in the mountains with a babbling brook as your soundtrack - or most impressively in front of world-class waterfall. Activities were great - a lot of hiking and exploring the nature of the area. Everything is simple and rustic - perfect to remove yourself from high-speed hustle and 'modern' life. I very strongly recommend this trip. There was plenty of physical and metaphysical space for reflection and meditation - but also time for a great laugh with others too - but that depends on how many buttocks you wish to clench! Was very fortunate to have a great group of people from around the world to do this course with - which undoubtedly helps any course like this - hopefully you will be lucky enough to spend a week with a bunch of Savage Carrots too!

    Stunning location to practice yoga

    PROS J'ai aimé: To practice yoga outside to the sound of waterfall and view of mountains was amazing experience. Lots of walking in beautiful surroundings too. Marija was a great host and milos cooked amazing meals.

    PROS J'ai aimé: Marija is a great teacher and a person. I loved her calm, focused and fun way of teaching. She took very good care of everyone. The place was stunning and food was excellent. Accommodation is simple - beds arent that comfortable. I recommend this retreat highly, especially if you are into hiking.

    "The yoga retreat in Tara Mountain was a wonderful experience! It was a good opportunity to go deeper in my yoga practice but also to have a break in an amazing place - wild and beautiful. The other activities, mostly hikes, were really well linked with yoga and meditation. It was a good opportunity to discover a new country and landscapes and practice yoga in a piece of heaven. The yoga classes were really good: a mix of asanas, meditation, and pranayama. Marija is a good teacher and she was fully dedicated to the retreat and the group. I warmly recommend this one week retreat!"

    "This retreat was beautiful. From being welcomed and warmly cared for, from Marija and owners of the accommodation, too. The retreat was located in Tara Mountain surrounded by amazing nature. Morning and evening yoga and meditation practice were for the whole group of different conditions and levels. Marija is very committed, calm, and great teacher with the knowledge to the smallest details. Between yoga classes every day, we had a new adventure in forests around us, taking more or less beaten trails to get to some spectacular spots and views.     "I think the experience has been absolutely incredible. There is a wonderful mix of incredible teachers who have deepened my practice but also taught me so much about interesting things that I would never know about - from really interesting hikes in archaeological sites here in Turkey, all the way through delicious food, Sufism, and face painting. Literally, the array of the things we did was wonderful. It was a great balance of intense yoga but also enough free time to recuperate afterward.     "I came on My Yogic Adventure because I wanted to get a bit fit, I wanted to have a holiday, but I also wanted to get my muscles moving again. I had not done yoga in a really long time and I wanted to get back into the practice. But actually what I got was so much more than my body being a little bit fitter and a little bit stronger and not being so lazy anymore. What my body learned was amazing and I will take those principles home with me, but what my mind learned was the best part - to change the way I have been thinking completely and to look at things differently.     "During my two month stay in Kathmandu, I stayed at Alobar 1000, where Marija taught yoga every morning. She was an integral part of my enjoyment during this period and is a talented and clearly dedicated teacher. Prior to coming to Marija, my experience of yoga teachers was reserved to those who would quickly rush through poses and very rarely go into detail. Marija took the time to explain how one properly gets into the pose and so gain the most benefit in a way that encouraged your development and understanding. She was patient and hands-on in approach, allowing for all levels to simultaneously enjoy the class independently, but with her support and guidance when it was needed. She was also very willing to answer any questions that we had, which is only complemented by her openness and approachability. Her shavasana at the end of the class is also something to look forward to and is particularly rewarding. A truly wonderful teacher the like of which I have not enjoyed since but one I highly recommend. I still enjoy what she taught me to this day and continue to develop my confidence and ability.
