This retreat will take place at Shanti Retreat in Wolfe Island, Canada. Wolfe Island is an amazing place of natural beauty. It’s a cycling and runner’s paradise and there’s also Big Sandy Bay, a beautiful secluded sand beach which can be reached within 15 minutes by car.
From Toronto and Montreal, it takes about three hours to reach the Wolfe Island ferry dock in downtown Kingston where the free ferry (Wolfe Island Ferry) departs hourly. A drive from Ottawa takes about two hours.
From New York state, you can conveniently reach Shanti Retreat by ferry (Hornes Ferry) from Cape Vincent, New York. This service operates approximately from mid-May to mid-October. Otherwise, the 1000 Islands International Bridge is nearby. Alternatively, there is a shuttle service available from Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) and Watertown, New York, to Kingston and the Wolfe Island ferry terminal.
