Join KULA YOGA & WELLNESS for a nurturing weekend in spa country to celebrate the winter solstice. KULA YOGA & WELLNESS is heading back to Continental House in lovely Hepburn Springs to enjoy a weekend of Vinyasa Flow, Yin yoga, and meditation. Over the weekend, you will have the opportunity to deepen your connection and understanding of your practice. At the dining table, you can share stories, make new friends with like-minded people, and you will nourish your body with delicious meals. When you’re not eating or on the mat, you will have the option of getting out and enjoying the local area, a soak at the Hepburn Springs Bathhouse & Spa, fill up your water bottle at the mineral springs, or simply curl up by the fire to read and relax.
You will be staying at the Continental House.
All abilities are able to participate and enjoy the benefits of yoga. Kula Yoga provides modifications and variations in all classes to ensure all levels are catered for. Their goal is to ensure all participants enjoy the amazing benefits of yoga, even if they are a beginner or an advanced student.
It is a dynamic flowing class in a balmy 28-degree room. It is a faster-paced class to tone and sculpt your body while synchronizing breath with movement to leave you energized and rejuvenated. Dynamic Power Vinyasa flow yoga will help to sculpt your body and release your mind. This is a faster-paced class that builds cardio fitness as you synchronize movement with breath for a dynamic full body workout. The Power flow yoga integrates awareness and alignment while building strength, tone, flexibility, and core stability. The class may include sun salutations, standing and arm balancing, seated, twisted and inverted poses.
Yin Yoga is a meditative slower paced practice with long deep stretching and holds to work into joint mobility. It is perfect for those wanting a class to unwind, enjoyed in a welcoming regular temperature room. You will enjoy a deep stretch, especially through the hips, pelvis, and spine. Yin yoga creates space in your body and stimulates the body's meridian lines (energy lines). You will enjoy this gentle class in a welcoming regular temperature room. Sequencing may include seated, twisted, and supported poses held for two to five minutes. It is a therapeutic complement to energetic classes and to balance out an active lifestyle. Yin yoga is perfect for those looking for a blissful class to relax and unwind.
On Friday afternoon, you will meet at the retreat location and enjoy a welcome Yin yoga and meditation class before dinner to stretch, breathe, and wind down the day.
Saturday morning will start with a Dynamic Vinyasa flow workshop focusing on hip openers to release tension and emotion before a nutritious breakfast. After breakfast, you are welcome to join a silent meditation walk or enjoy some free time. After lunch, you'll have the opportunity to soak and relax at the beautiful Hepburn Springs Bathhouse next door. You may also choose to indulge in the cultural bathing experience of the marble Turkish hammam at the retreat location or a pampering massage treatment. On late Saturday afternoon, there will be a blissful Yin yoga class to promote relaxation with an appetizing dinner to follow.
On Sunday morning before breakfast, you'll greet the day with an energizing Power flow yoga class focusing on opening through the heart space. After farewell lunch, you'll head back to Melbourne feeling recharged and relaxed.
