This retreat takes us out of the mundane same/same of everyday life and will reawaken us to the wild freedom and beauty of nature at its best - complete with breathtaking scenery of beaches, ocean, mountains, and endless blue skies with dazzling sunsets. Our covered yoga deck is right on the beach, overlooking the deep blue Pacific Riviera. We will have two yoga classes per day - one energizing alignment-based vinyasa flow class, and one calming and tension-releasing gentle yoga class. Meditation sessions will be provided as we tap into the sounds and sensations of the power as well as the calming effects of the ocean at our front door. Jess caters all yoga classes to every single person and their wants, goals, and needs. She has 6 years of experience leading teacher trainings in Thailand, retreats all over the world, workshops in Europe, and teaching online for the popular website DoYouYoga.com. Jess will make you feel safe and supported, yet challenged and inspired. Expect to laugh and sweat, and deeply relax. Included in the price, is transportation to and from the airport on arrival and departure days. Also included in the price is a 2 hour acro yoga workshop for all levels, a trip to the raw and wild hot springs which are tucked away and surrounded by palm trees and fireflies and beautiful star gazing views. We will take a walk up the beach one evening to watch the baby sea turtles make their way from the beach into the ocean, which is always a highlight. We will try our hand at salsa dancing at one of the local hotspots, and eat lots of authentically delicious Mexican food. Two meals per day are included in the retreat price, as well as full accommodation. Our home for the week is the relaxing Villas Troncones, which boasts a massively deep and spacious saltwater infinity pool. The housing is set up in villas, so that 2 or 3 rooms share an open-air kitchen and living room for relaxing and making smoothies if you so desire (although brunch and dinner will be provided!). There is a main lobby to relax in, as well as lots of spots next to the pool to get some R & R. The beach is literally in our front yard, and the pristine white sands stretch for days in each direction from our home, ready for long walks, and deep breaths. Massages will be available to be booked, as well as surf lessons, scuba diving, and horseback rides along the coast. As with all of Jess' retreats, there will be optional volunteer give-back to the local community. This time she is partnering up with the local dog shelter and spay and neuter clinic, "Surfers For Strays." You will have the opportunity (but not the obligation) to spend a few hours one afternoon helping to bathe, play with, and walk the puppies who are in foster care, as well as take pictures and spread the word to your loved ones back home who might be looking to adopt a pup. The street dogs of Mexico are the absolute cutest in the world, so don't be surprised if you find yourself wanting to take one home as well!!!! Come to relax and take a long, slow exhale. Come to make peace with your wild freedom and connect deeply back to nature.

For this retreat, you will be staying at the gorgeous Villas Troncones, right on the beach for seven nights. You will be staying in a shared room or a private room.
For couples or good friends who would like to share a king bed, you can choose to stay in a private room. If you are a solo traveler, you may choose to stay in a shared twin room with two single beds or have the room for yourself in a private room with a king bed. Another option available is dorm room with bunk beds.
Every villa consists of three bedrooms and two baths, and the private rooms get private baths. There is a spacious open-air kitchen in each villa, a dining area, and a seating area, all with sea views. All the rooms are equipped with fully functional air conditioner and free Wi-Fi.
You are just a few steps away from the beach, so you get a lovely sea breeze. The retreat center has a huge saltwater swimming pool, deep enough for diving.
Daily, all-levels yoga classes will be held on the yoga shala directly on the beach overlooking the Pacific Riviera and shaded by the Sierra Madre Mountains. The yoga deck has a roof to protect us from the sun.
For beginner to advanced yogis, Jess caters every class for all levels and the goals and needs of the group. In the mornings, you will flow through alignment-based Vinyasa sequences to connect body, mind, and breath, exploring fun and challenging poses in a light-hearted, non-aggressive way.
You will also have a special two-hour Acro yoga workshop mid-week to practice trust and conquer your fears while flying high.
Days are free to explore, wander, participate in the planned or solo activities, or chill on the beach or in the saltwater pool. Every evening, you will slow it down with a Yin and Yang class to stretch out and unwind after the adventurous and nourishing days.
Evenings will be slower, more introspective classes based on the Yin and Yang model of blending meditative movement with longer holds in the poses, for deep sensations and release of the muscles and fascia. All classes will be an exploration of your innate wild nature, and your body’s original blueprint of being free, free from tension, free from blockages, free from patterns that limit you from feeling well, and from being the happy, life-loving humans you were born to be.
You will get personalized assistance and tips for your practice, and you also have the opportunity to book a private class with Jess if you choose so.
Group brunch and dinner are included in the package, and most dietary restrictions are catered to. If you would like to see if the retreat is a good fit for you, take a class or three with Jess Rose, or participate in her 30-day challenge on doyouyoga.com.
This is a sample schedule and can change depending on the activities offered on certain days.
There are other fun activities aside from yoga that is included in this retreat that you may participate in.
The hot springs just outside of town is so magical, you would not even try to put it into words. Sit in the raw, untouched pools and view the stars and moon while you soak. There is no light pollution, no sound pollution, just the pure, wild beauty of nature at its finest.
Every evening, about a 10-minute walk from the retreat center, hundreds of baby sea turtles are safely released into the ocean. It is amazing to watch these tiny creatures make their way across the beach and into the ocean.
Friday night is salsa night at one of the local hotspots and is not to be missed. The live band is amazing, the energy is high, and everyone in town is there.
Jess's friends, Natali and Isabel, started the rescue mission to help local dogs suffering from life on the street find homes all over the United States. It has grown into a hugely successful, yet still small grassroots project. If you would like to help give the puppies a bath and take them for a walk around town, it is a great way to see the village while helping out those sweet babies.
This yoga retreat will take place in Troncones, Mexico.

There are plenty of places in town to rent a bicycle to cruise around the pueblo (village), or visit the neighboring villages and bays, where you can see local fisherman at work, check out the miles of pristine, empty beaches, and see what the entire area of Troncones is all about.
Troncones is home to many nomadic massage therapists, physiotherapists, and healers from all over the world, and Jess knows them all. Jess will be happy to book you the kind of appointment your body is asking for. Prices vary, and massages can be booked upon arrival.
