Within the All You Can Yoga program, Jessica has the freedom to bring in guest teachers of her choosing and to customize the program according to her JBYoga brand, integrating JBYoga signature sequencing (practiced daily during your training month and hopefully beyond), and to incorporate mantras, practices, and themes that are integral to Jessica's teaching style. This training will guide you to become proficient and skilled practitioners and teachers, setting them on a path to a lifelong love of yoga and the magic of this practice.
Jessica Bellofatto will teach yoga, philosophy, history, methodology, chanting, pranayama, meditation, physical adjustments, sequencing, subtle body, and anatomy. The guest teachers are Manorama D’Alvia who will be teaching Sanskrit alphabet and chanting, Sinead Fitzgibbon who will be teaching anatomy, Roey Ficaro who will be teaching Restorative yoga, meditation as well as aromatherapy, Jessy Nees who will be assisting, and others. The training will be broken into five parts:
Jessica has studied extensively over the past 25 years in styles ranging from Ashtanga to Iyengar to Anusara. Jessica was originally certified in 1996 in Jivamukti yoga, which is a Vinyasa style, and has also completed her certification in Ashaya yoga, an alignment based system. The JBYoga teacher training is not a ‘branded’ style of yoga. Jessica will teach you biomechanically sound principles of alignment woven into a flowing Vinyasa sequence and allow you to take the teachings and uniquely and creatively find your voice as a teacher.
JBYoga does not expect you to be a master in yoga. A minimum of six months of study is required along with a passion to learn. Many people come to a yoga teacher training program with no intention of teaching yoga but rather with a desire to deepen their practice and understanding. Whichever is the case for you, at the end of this 200-hour program, you will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to teach a yoga class.
Topics in this category could include, but would not be limited to, asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation, and other traditional yoga techniques. These hours are a mix between analytical training in how to teach and practice the techniques and guided practice of the techniques themselves. Both areas will receive substantial emphasis.
The teaching methodology category covers a broad overview and analysis of teaching methods rather than how to practice or teach specific techniques.
Topics in this category could include, but would not be limited to, human physical anatomy and physiology (bodily systems, organs, etc.) and may also include energy anatomy and physiology (chakras, nadis, etc.). It will include both the study of anatomy and physiology along with its application to yoga practice (benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc.).

There will be some required reading and homework before the training begins. Throughout the course of the month together, there will be a small amount of nightly homework, review, practice, etc. but Jessica will absolutely keep in mind your long days and the intensive nature of a month long training with the need for downtime and sleep.
Note: You may miss a day or session due to illness or other circumstances. Provided with those situations, you can get all missed material from another trainee.
The training will take place at the Rincon Surf Club which is located in the heart of Puntas in Rincon. You will practice daily outdoors in the shade of the trees overlooking the property. Views of the ocean and the tropical breeze will keep you happy and comfortable throughout the day as you will focus on learning. During breaks, you can jump less than a mile down to the ocean for a morning or mid-day surf, swim, or paddle, or simply relax in a hammock by the pool.
Breakfast will be served for you daily. Furthermore, located at the club is the Carta Buena Juice Bar which serves delicious food, smoothies, juices, and coffee.
