French Yoga Garden’s exciting Vinyasa yoga and wine weekend is taking shape. Come, unwind, have fun, and take some time out on the mat while finding out more about wine and pairings with London-based wine girl Amanda Sefton. Together, they have designed an informal, fun, flowing yoga and wine weekend for people with some basic yoga experience upwards. They’ll keep the energy high. The yoga is flowing, the wine is chilled, and everyone is smiling!
Moulin de Chantegrolle rooms are simply furnished and homely with good facilities, comfortable beds, and high-quality linens. All towels are provided. Wi-Fi is available across the property if you need to connect to the outside world on your stay.
Rooms are twin or double sharing and will be allocated on arrival according to booking preferences where possible. All rooms in the house have cherry oak floors with many featuring exposed beams, original stone-work, or fireplaces.
All accommodation is shared in elegant and simple rooms. Two people can stay in a room, except for three people in the large loft. There are plenty of bathrooms and everyone has access to a guest kitchen. The garden boasts lots of chill-out space, a pool, a pond, and Wi-Fi. The largest room, the cabin, is a spacious, totally separate lodging for four. For retreats, only two or three (if three friends book together) guests are housed there. It also has its own kitchenette, bathroom, and dining space.
There is a separate garden cottage which sleeps up to eight people. For retreats, only up to six guests over two levels can stay there. There is a private sleeping snug with a double bed, a twin-bed room, plus a large loft room with two doubles and a single bed, nestling under the exposed beams. This garden cottage has two shower rooms with two toilets.
The large guest studio at the garden level to the house has its own entrance and access to a kitchen or dining space too. It is usually for four, but just two guests share during retreats. It features a large double plus a sumptuous single daybed. It has an en-suite shower room. There's also a large lounge cafe space with a sun deck to hang out in whenever you feel like it to just listen to music or allow the mind to drift away.
All guests have free-range of the garden with its many secluded areas, as well as the yoga yurt, the pond, and bamboo meditation garden. Feel free to use the garden yoga hangar as you wish. You can laze idly around the pool on the sun deck, or just relax in blissful sleep in one of the hammocks.
During this retreat, you will get deep and dynamic awakening morning yoga sessions and slow flow afternoon sessions of Yin and Restorative yoga to target tight spots and soothe tired limbs. Those yoga sessions will guide you into a moment of stillness.
Every day, you will not only stimulate the senses but also the taste-buds too, as you will love eating the gourmet vegetarian delights on offer, paired with thoughtful wine choices by Amanda. You will start each evening with an informal wine tasting - forget stuffy, poncy wine lessons - here, you will be out in the garden, by the pool or under the trees, finding out what tickles your taste buds, from local gems to faraway flavors.
So why not come to the woods to enjoy some dedicated time out, allowing the mind and body to breathe and decompress, with other like-minded people?

This retreat will take place in the small village of Charroux in France. This peaceful rural corner of southwest France with its mild climate, rolling hills and woodlands is the ideal place to slow down, look inwards, rejuvenate, and replenish the soul.
You will spend your time in the rustic open-sided garden studio and yoga yurt. Located on the outskirts of a charming old village with its ancient abbey and listed monument tower, the yoga garden sits proudly surrounded by trickling streams close to the banks of the river Charente.
The place retains the original features of the old water wood mill. Built solidly out of local stone and oak, its huge thick walls protect against the heat of high summer, keeping the interiors cool.
