You will be accommodated at Bhanuswari Resort in shared double and private room occupancy basis. You will be provided with a hot shower, mosquito net, two bottles of drinking water in each room, a choice of two swimming pools, and free Wi-Fi. The prices displayed are for superior room and deluxe room.


In ancient cultures from all over the world, there is a shared recognition that everything that exists is composed of a few essential elements. These elements embody key qualities, the balance of which results in harmony within you and in the world.


Earth is the embodiment of the quality of solidity, perceptible through all five of your senses. When this element is balanced, you are centered and grounded. When you are rooted firmly in the element of earth, you have the safety, security, and stability you need to blossom out into the world.


Water is the embodiment of the quality of fluidity, perceptible through four of your senses (it cannot be smelled). When this element is balanced, you are accommodating and adaptable. When you are able to ride the waves of the element of water, you have the flexibility, spontaneity, and trust you need to flow with the changing currents of life.


Fire is the embodiment of the quality of transformation, perceptible through three of your senses (it cannot be tasted nor touched). When this element is balanced, you are courageous and driven. When you are able to fan the flames of the element of fire, you have the passion, power, and purpose you need to blaze your own trail in the world.


Air is the embodiment of the quality of movement, perceptible through just two of your senses (it cannot be smelled, tasted, nor seen). When this element is balanced, you are light and expansive. When you are able to go where the element of wind blows, you have the gratitude, openness, and receptivity you need to embrace the inevitable ups and downs of life.


Space is the embodiment of the quality of ineffability, perceptible through sound alone. When this element is balanced, you are in touch with your own qualities of infinitude and transcendence. When you are able to connect with the unimaginable vastness of the element of space, you can reclaim the divinity, perfection, and wholeness that are the marks of who you truly are.

In your retreat in Awakening Self-Love: Reconnecting with the Elements, you will engage in various practices designed to bring you home to yourself in profoundly healing and transformative ways. You will participate with Mother Earth, water and fire ceremonies; perform yogic exercises in asana, pranayama, and dhyana; dance, chant and sing; and most importantly, rest, relax, and reflect.

In this retreat, you will receive the guidance and the tools you need to:

  • Create and deepen a connection with the elements
  • Establish and expand an awareness of the present moment
  • Raise your personal vibration and connect with your own conception of the divine
  • Find the stillness within you and learn how to create sacred space
  • Revitalize your body, refresh your mind, reinvigorate your heart, and renew your spirit
  • Fall in love all over again with yourself and take renewed delight in the gift of who you are
  • Build your self-confidence through using your voice

The above schedule is simply a guide and may change depending on what the retreat participants need on a given day. There will also an evening with a program as well an afternoon devoted to a trip to Ubud for sightseeing or shopping. As when you change the way you look at, the things you look at changes. This is likely to happen through Feeling Soul Good's sharing and connecting of the Elements in various ceremonies.


This retreat includes a trip to Ubud and a water ceremony at local water temple with a local priest.

Sequoia’s yogic journey began with the very disciplined practice of the Iyengar tradition. After years of practicing the Iyengar lineage, she cultivated her own personal practice and discipline, which organically transformed her asana practice into a mixture of the Ashtanga and Hatha schools. Now, she teaches the traditional practice of Hatha yoga incorporating space for inner awareness and witnessing, which allows one to deepen inner connection beyond the physical body.
Eileen Tupaz
Eileen is a yoga teacher trainer, yoga and meditation teacher, retreat facilitator, and Reiki practitioner. An educator by heart, Eileen is passionate about learning and sharing practices that can transform people’s lives and their experience of life. When she is not reading up on the world’s religions, Eileen spends her free time listening to neuroscience lectures and dharma talks.
Jero Mangku Ketut Darsa
Jero comes from a family of holy priests and oversees the sacred garden temple of Beji where he presents prayers and offerings to the spirits and conducts ceremonies on specific days. Jero’s life is devoted to the spirit and he uses his connection with unseen energies to share the universe’s wisdom with all.

This retreat will be held at the Bhanuswari Resort, a sanctuary nestled in the southern foothills of the Indonesian island of Bali, just 15 minutes away from the town of Ubud. Bhanuswari Resort is surrounded by terraced rice fields, towering coconut trees, natural spring-fed streams, and vibrant tropical gardens, creating a serene and secluded setting ideal for retreats. From the manner of its design and construction to its management and operation, it provides the perfect setting for visitors seeking spiritual awakening, emotional healing, mental peace, and creative inspiration.

Bali is just one of the many small islands of Indonesia, but without a doubt, it is one of the most famous. Bali is frequently referred to as “The Paradise Island” because of its reputation in the world as a tropical paradise of untold beauties of nature, hosting a peaceful feeling, and never-ending beauty. The island is also known as the island of the “Gods” because worship colors every facet of life among the Hindu Balinese in their daily activities. The whole of Indonesia is Muslim, Bali being the only Hindu island.

The local people are soft in nature, happy to help, and very kind. From Feeling Soul Good's personal experience, it is a safe country and very spiritual, which of course supports the practice of yoga. Even though it is safe, theft can occur, and please be mindful with your belongings in the bigger centers like Ubud and Denpasar, the capital you will be flying into.

Bali occupies an area of only 6,000 square kilometers. The longest distance is about 140 kilometers. Bali is located just off the eastern tip of Java, separated by the narrow Bali straights. The island lays eight degrees south of the equator. So expect some humidity. Bhanuswari Resort is located about one hour north of the airport. Ubud has a bit of everything from great healers, shops, and delicious vegetarian restaurants.
