You will be staying at Thara Bayview Villa. This striking Krabi Villa sits in a commanding position that provides spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and out to sea with sleeping accommodation for up to 11 people. Thara Bayview Villa is such a remarkable property. The accommodation is spread over three floors, and the rental villa is positioned on high ground, which enables its guests to enjoy eye-catching sea views.
The house is also surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden, which comes complete with a swimming pool and ample space in which to sit and admire the property’s picturesque setting. Although the front door to the property is located on the ground floor, much of the ground floor space provides an outdoor seating and barbecue area where guests may relax in the cool shade of Krabi Villa above.
The accommodation is sensibly arranged to ensure that guests enjoy the spectacular views to the maximum. Therefore, four of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, whilst the main living area and remaining bedroom can be found upstairs on the second and third floors. Air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms and the main living area.
On the first floor, the master suite has a king-size four-poster bed, and the large windows in this room allow guests to enjoy some stunning views. There is also a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a rain shower, double Jacuzzi, and stylish LED lighting. The master suite also benefits from a large television and DVD player. There are a further three bedrooms on this floor, two of which have king-size beds, and the remaining bedroom has twin single beds.
This floor also has three additional bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. There is a touch of mystery about the fifth bedroom at Thara Bayview Villa. This room is accessed via a secret door in the wood paneling on the second floor.
Once opened, the door reveals a small staircase that leads enticingly to a comfortable bedroom with both a king-size and a single bed. The main open-plan living area on the second floor has a light and spacious feel due to its large windows and high cathedral ceiling.
The decor in this room is very elegant, due to its dark marble floors, exposed stonework, and wooden paneling. This room has comfortable seating on large leather sofas, and there is also a dining table and chairs that will seat up to eight people.
The wooden furniture is excellent quality and fits in well with the style of the property, and there is also an interesting collection of artwork that captures the spirit of Southern Thailand. The living area also benefits from a large terrace that provides spectacular sea views.
The entertainment needs of guests are well cared for with the provision of a 50-inch LCD television, DVD player, and HP computer. A high-speed wireless internet connection is available in both the house and the pool area. The kitchen, which is also located in one corner of the second floor, is well equipped with attractive wooden units, black counter tops, and a central breakfast island. There is a mezzanine floor above the kitchen that is accessed via a spiral staircase.
This functional space could have many uses, although it is currently used as a library and relaxing reading area. The full height glazing in this room opens out onto an attractive balcony. Outside the property, there is a large garden consisting of an attractive selection of tropical plants. The private 10 by 4.5 meters swimming pool is situated to one side of the villa, and the attractive terrace beside the pool is furnished with sun loungers.
Some of the rooms have king-size beds, and one room has twin single beds and another has one king-size and one single bed, and there is a master suite with walking wardrobe and Jacuzzi. Dutchi yoga will try to arrange accommodation to suit everyone’s needs, however, it will be on a first come first serve basis. It means that the earlier you book, Dutchi yoga will allow you to choose which room you would like.

She has a very calm and professional approach to teaching and has been teaching yoga for over 10 years. You will start this three-day of yoga with Dutchi, with meditation in the morning (Dutchi is a great believer in meditation and regularly goes on meditation retreats for one to two weeks), followed by pranayama breathing exercises.
Then, you will have two to three hours of Vinyasa yoga, you will then have free time to explore Ao Nang and the surrounding area in the afternoon. You will have another yoga session combining Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga. After dinner, you will have yoga discussions. You will need to stay in Ao Nang the night before the retreat starts, you will be picked up at your hotel.
You will have tea, coffee, and fruit. Then, you will check out before 10:00 a.m.
This retreat will take place in Thara Bayview Villa, Krabi, Thailand. The magical Krabi is located on Southern Thailand's east coast, 800 kilometers south of Bangkok. Krabi Province is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Classic virgin beaches fringed with towering limestone formations is an understatement to describe this stunningly beautiful area of Thailand.
The Krabi coastline is dotted with rarely visited tropical islands, palm fringed beaches, waterfalls, caves, and strange rock formations. Covering an area of approximately 4,709 square kilometers, Krabi Province is bounded by Phang Nga and Surathani Provinces, from the north, it is Trang Province and the Andaman Sea, from the south, it is Trang and Nakorn Si Thammarat provinces, from the east, it is Phang Nga Province, and the Andaman Sea from the west.
Krabi's landscape is undulating and dotted with hills and mountains, the highest of which is Khao Phanom Bencha at 1,350 meters. Along the 160 kilometers coastline of Krabi are alternately bays and capes viewed from the air reveal a jagged outline with outcrops of limestone mountains rising up from the sea waters.
Much of the coastal area is covered by mangrove forest which serves as a natural breeding ground for Krabi's diverse aquatic life. Inland, Krabi's extensive deciduous forest area is mainly reserved and feature. That is the reason why Krabi has been voted the best beach destination in Thailand for three years in a row (2013 - 2015) by TripAdvisor readers.
More family-friendly and far less built-up than most other famous Thai beach resorts, Krabi also has something for everyone, whether you are an active sportsperson or a lazy beach bum. Please book your flight to arrive at Krabi Airport (KBV). Thara Bayview Villa is a 40-minute drive from Krabi Airport (KBV), which is situated in Krabi Province in Southern Thailand. Many international flights arrive in Krabi as well as domestic flights from all over Thailand.
Dutchi yoga’s driver will be waiting to pick u up at the airport and bring you back to the villa on the first evening. At the end of the retreat, you can either be taken back to the airport or to a hotel in Ao Nang if you are staying on in the area.
